I hate to say it but it looks like Davies might make the cut. IDK but Wayns shot looked good last night. I could see the cut very close. All three players have great qualities and whoever gets cut will get snatched up by another team. Utah had a good look at Wayns last night too.

The defense was beautiful though, really was. Coaching can do a lot for defense, certainly. It's interesting that the offense isn't even "fully functional" yet. CP had some turnovers that were miscues with Blake, I think he got credited for one that was just Blake loosing the handle. That won't be a common occurrence.

Love the quick hit pick and roll on the secondary break
Loved the pace, CP pushing the ball consistently is not a common sight
Loved the 4/5 pick and roll with Blake and DJ, Smith and Horford ran that a lot in ATL and it is about time the Clippers added it (hopefully it rears it's head again)

Davies is playing like Al Thornton in Atlanta.

Still amazed Thornton fell out the league as soon as he did.

I want Davies to get the last spot this team needs to develop a big as we get better and learning on the go with Jordan and Griffin should do wonders. Davies potential on both ends would be a great boost and could have a Paul Milsap sixth man type impact if he improves. Add in Wayns as a guy who could see court time as a cheap primary backup in the future.

Bullock needs to get some reps in we could very well be using him in basic rotations if injuries keep stacking.

I know it's not right to make judgement after only two games especially when they are pre-season games, however I would like to hear the opinion of other clipper fans.

We can see that we have a new style of play and I think it doesn't take full advantage of Crawford's skill set (making shots out of nothing). It is my view that his salary is not being effectively used. Willie Green played amazing. With guys like CP3 our shooting guards simply need to make 3s and not be a liability on defense. Would you guys prefer to keep Crawford to use as a scoring injection when the starters are flat or would you prefer to trade him in a package for a quality big?

I agree with you. I'd be sorry for him cause he's mostly been a good soldier since he came in, but Crawford is a very tradeable piece at the moment. With Collison here we don't need a scoring ball handler in the 2nd unit as much as we did, and with Willie playing great and Bullock looking good for the future, we'd have his position covered. I'd be ok with us trading him for a good big man near the deadline. Or something like Udoh and a prospect or a protected pick.

I just can't watch Mullens play anymore, and we've just started the preseason. Even when he's making his shots I feel the need to pull my hair every time he catches the ball. I might have to switch the channel every time he enters the court this season

with Green/ JJ at the 2 and dudley/ barnes at the 3 we can use Bullock to cover any injuries for either of those positions. Also both CP3 and Collison could play minutes at the 2 if needed. Not sure what a package of something like Crawford & Mullens/ Jamison would fetch us. Maybe a decent big, maybe a good draft pick for next year?
