Crawford is Underpayed!!!!

I understand he could have got a bigger contract from a couple other teams but come on JJ makes $1.5mill per year more then him. Considering what crawford brings? 33yrs old and moves almost better then anyone out there And he can still play multiple years I hope clippers keep him more then his 2 years left on deal and pay what he's worth Deandre making $11mill and cant make a freethrow lol....

come on dude. Jamal willingly signed his contract two years ago for 2 years guaranteed and 2 years on team option. he was happy to have it. let it be.

besides, if you want to compare Jamal to JJ's contributions next to each other for this year, JJ is the better player hands down. go check out the advanced stats for both in any site.

At Neddy this is JJ Career best this season and you are going crazy for him? Jamal has been doing this 14 years and not to mention is way older the JJ and still outplaying him in way less minutes don't get me started lol not even close dude...

maybe you are a young man who has yet to experience the real life of being a working stiff, and good for you for being idealistic and naive... but once you sign a contract, it doesn't matter what you actually deserve. whatever you sign on is what you get paid no matter what. 11 years ago, coming fresh out of dental school, i signed on with the federal government as a public servant dentist. i outproduced all other fellow dentists at my station by 3 folds, yet i was the lowest paid dentist because that is what i signed on for. a year after, i left the federal government for a private office. spanish speaking bilingual dentists signed on right out of school for more money than me, and i was for 10 months straight, the highest producing dentist at my job, but i was still the lowest paid dentist at my work, because that's what i signed on for.

Jamal signed on for what he is getting paid, nothing you say or feel can change that.

and it doesn't hurt that JJ is flat out the better player for us right now. good thing he had the smarts to sign on for more money, and NBA contracts are fully guaranteed. too bad neither of myself nor Jamal had any real business sense. :wink:

Yeah not like the NFL when you can re-negotiate the deal it is what it is. I feel he is underpaid for what he does for this team but you got to remember when he signed his deal he was coming off a horrible Portland stint.

Well neddy smart guy don't talk to soon anything can happen this summer depending on what both party's agree on and I think Crawford has made $89million so far and still counting without being a superstar so his business savy isn't that bad I would say if jj is so much better then Crawford why is 27million his biggest and last payout considering Crawfords $57mill with Knicks then his $24million here with clippers and 5more yrs older then reddick and Crawford will still get another contract after this the guy is underpaid on this contract is what I'm saying!

Both JJ and Crawford have played quite well this season. What makes Crawford such a valuable player is not only his scoring, but his ability to make plays for others- that is what separates him from guys like Nick Young and JR Smith

so... what is the point of your thread once again? i am lost for words why it is that you are even replying anymore. contracts are guaranteed. Jamal isn't better than JJ this year, and the Clippers own the team option.

just what the heck is the topic here? Jamal's fate will be decided by Doc and the clipper brass. there is exactly ZERO chance that Jamal can get a better contract. there is absolutely nothing, not a damn thing that can happen to make Jamal's contract any different than what he signed on for. nada, zippo, not a damn possibility what so ever. unless the CLIPPERS decide not to pick up the option, he cannot leverage his way out of what he already consented for.

i don't understand your point, nor do i understand your purpose of this thread. so... you think Jamal deserves better pay day? but you state that he has gotten paid well up to this point. you say JJ is having a career year, and playing better this year, but we should pay Jamal for what he has done in the past?
