Spain seems like it would not be the best place to avoid the wild lifestyle.

Well, Spain isn't a great place to avoid the wild lifestyle, but where he is going to be (Vitoria, north of Spain) is really one of the most quiet cities of the country. The point on this deal is the team where he is going to almost finish his career. Caja Laboral is going on bad mood, so far of playing for any titles or compete seriously for anything. So, probably Lamar Odom will never play as well as he use to do. That may be the reason why Doc doesn't sign him.

Well, at least we have some closure on LO coming back. In the end I think has too many off-court issues affecting him as a player. All that not wanting to play for the enemy stuff, I think that's just him trying to save face. He probably knows Doc won't stand for any of his antics, or his terrible rapping, lol.
