we'd have a conference record of 37-15 and they would have a record of 36-16.

I believe you are right.

Yeah, I think divsion record comes before conference record in the tie breaker, but we also have that clinched against them, since our record against the Pacific is 12-4, and OKC's record against the Northwest is 11-5. But in any case, if they lose to Detroit and we win out we are 2nd.

Not that it's likely, since Detroit are gonna be tanking the game for a chance at the 7th lottery slot that Sacramento holds at the moment, and we'll probably rest everybody on the b2b against Portland.

Who gets the 6th seed if both GSW and Dallas finish at 50-32?

There is a very delusional thread on the Warriors board titled "The Clippers Are Afraid Of The Warriors" If you're in need of a good laugh, read that thread  There are a few (and I mean a few) straight shooter Warrior fans in that thread that know it's nonsense though.

Why would we be afraid of the Warriors? Only team the Clippers FANS (the actual team obviously doesn't care) could be afraid of is Memphis, but that's not because of anything basketball related, but because Clippers players seem to drop like flies or come out on the other side hobbling in series' against Memphis, whether intentionally by them or not.

Outside of that, the only team that is always a fear is the machine that is the San Antonio Spurs.

Dallas or Memphis...these two teams know how to play grown-man basketball. We don't escape the first-round if we get Memphis (unless CP3 channels his inner Isiah Thomas). I wouldn't feel great about going-up against Dirk either; you know, the only guy outside of Olajuwon to drag his team to a championship by himself.

Fortunately, it looks like we're getting Golden State in the first-round, so the Clippers should be fairly well rested for the 2nd-round this time, where the real playoffs will begin.

why so confident? golden state has a really good team that has underachieved this year. They did the same thing last year and ended up beating the 3rd seeded nuggets as the 6th seed.

Surprisingly they are a defensive team, contrary to their reputation over the last while. But when and if you have a healthy igoudala and bogut in the lineup, you're gonna be solid defensively

i'm not saying the clippers won't beat them, but that GS is the team that scares me the most. All it takes is thompson and curry to get stupid hot and bam, they steal a game or two. Add in the fact that their bench is one of their weaknesses, but in the playoffs, that factor is minimized by playing starters longer

Bare in mind that those Nuggets were your A typical over-achieving Regular Season teams,Clippers under Doc this year should be able to beat GSW.

They are the scariest team to be facing if we had to choose though but if we can't beat the 6th seed we shouldn't be thinking about WCF at all. We are much better than you're giving us credit for, don't worry.

don't worry eh?

Game 5 decides the series now :/
