Honestly, I'm more scared at the process dragging over several years than I am of the franchise just dissapearing. If it's gone, then it's gone and we're f*cked, but at least we have some closure. If DTS drags this for years with long court procedures and the league keeps putting penalties on the team to make him sell, or some variation of what Houston's arsehole owner suggeted (making all the team free agents), we'll be back to having a sh*t team with no prospect of being competitive. I can't think of anything worse that can happen to us, and we don't deserve that.

And I know I'm not ready to stop rooting for the team I've been rooting for decades, just because the bigot who operates as an owner happened to go national, and all these Johnny-come-lately are just finding out how much of a pr*ck he is. We all knew everything he said on the tape, for years. All these other NBA owners trying to look offended knew. The comissioner knew. Magic knew. Most NBA fans knew. We are all going along with this fake outrage because we are clinging to the opportunity of booting him, a chance that we've been wishing for decades.

But for fans of opposing teams that come here trying to tell us who to support, remember this in a few years: the Magic's owner is a homophobe and everybody is ok with it. Maybe in a few years he'll say something stupid on TMZ and all this fake outrage will turn to him, and you will all act like Orlando fans should stop supporting him. But you aren't outraged right now, just like you weren't outraged with DTS 10 years ago.

Wizards owner, or OKC's owner have done more damage with their bussiness practices than Sterling will ever do with his hateful speeches, and no one is fake-outraged at them. Cavs owner was at the center of the credit crunch and directly affected way more people than DTS' slumlord practices have. And no one is fake-outraged at him.

So don't have the nerve to come in here like this couldn't have happened to you, cause some day, it just might.

How about sticking around to put your own stamp on the Clippers brand while simultaneously suing Donald Sterling for all he's worth via unfair workplace lawsuits and then use the money won in lawsuits to build infrastructure for the poor people (I'd say black people but I think he hates every non-billionaire equally, he's just that sort of guy) he dislikes so much.

Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Matt Barnes and the rest of the Clippers drive me nuts as a Warriors fan, but that's a good thing because they actually make me care about the games vs my beloved Warriors. I don't want your team going anywhere. I want them to stand strong, be the better people and find a way to make lemonade out of lemons.

Stay right where you are Mr. Sterling you one foot in the coffin plantation owner wannabe. These days there are courtrooms that you can't fill with paid off lackeys to find a case in your favor. Go ahead and stay owner of the Clippers and face your modern day lashing in court as every member of your organization sues you for every penny you ever squeezed out of those poor folks in your slums. Sue that old man and get as much money back as possible, that's my solution to dealing with this greedy, anachronistic geezer.

I really don't want the Clippers to go anywhere since GSW and you guys have developed a nice in state rivalry over the past few seasons. F that old man, stand your ground and push back against the tyrant. We have too many GSW vs LAC games in our futures to let this clown get in our way.

Here's to hoping YOUR team stays right where it is so I can continue to revile them the way that I currently do.

You're more then welcome. I think it's important that cooler heads prevail in this situation so we can all get back to doing what we all enjoy so much which is watching our favorite teams compete in the playoffs to win an NBA championship.

Sterling will get dealt with long term via the court of public opinion and hopefully civil courts which he won't be able to avoid. In the short term we shouldn't let him detract from what we've been looking forward to all season.

I'll share a wise lesson I learned as a young referee some 20 years ago. A veteran ref told me I had to be able to keep my cool when everything is going crazy around me. When fans are at the height of their emotion, stomping their feet on the stands, yelling, screaming I try to center myself and stay focused on the task at hand.

Here's hoping your team can stay focused on the task at hand which is giving my Warriors the fight of their lives tonight.

I tell players all the time to stop focusing on what they perceive as bad calls because it directs their energy toward the refs instead of towards accomplishing team goals.

The Clippers players, as tough as it might be for some of them, need to forget Donald Sterling ever existed and focus on winning this series and an NBA title for themselves and the average fan on the street that struggles from paycheck to paycheck to survive.

It'll be legend if your team pulls it off.

Wish I could say good luck tonight and the rest of the series but you know I can't do that.

If YOUR team beats GSW I'll root for you guys even though your team is filled with a bunch of floppers :D

I refuse to believe in your reality. Draymond Green has never committed a foul in his Warriors career  and Lee is more of a cheap shot artist then a flopper

How married are you guys to your nickname "Clippers"

Would be a great opportunity to reinvent the team with Donald being exorcised, and adopting a fan polled Nickname.

no thanks.

I was a Clips fan when we were in the gutter playing in the SportsArena, I had my hesitations when i wasn't sure if Donald would stay or not in last couple of days, but now with the bigot gone, Clips for life.

more pride when you succeed after decades of being a laughing stock.

you should know, you are a bulls fan. if you are old enough, you should remember what bulls were like before you drafted Jordan. basically the same team as the clips that used to be a punch line.

Bulls had some decent teams man lol. At least back in the Norm-Sloan-Love days... they had a downtime of course...

Was just wondering, The Clipper contingent is definitely more in the public eye now, so was wondering how you guys felt about it.

hey, we did have bob mcadoo years and world b free years, as well as my favorite larry brown years.

but reality was that we both sucked some big donkey balls. you got lucky and got jordan when we were drafting bo kimbles and danny ferrys.

Keep an open mind and don't judge a book by it's cover. People will surprise you all the time if you follow those 2 basic guidelines.

this wont happen. If sterling keeps the clippers and everyone bails on him, he'd be losing hunreds of millions of dollars every year. just wont happen. He'll end up selling

no sterling won't be able to keep this team.

but if he did, revenue sharing of NBA will still earn him lots of money. maybe not the kind of money he maybe earning now, but he still profits.

There is no way Silver allows the Clippers to be moved out of LA. That would be punishing clippers fans for the idiotic comments Sterling made. If Silver even considers letting the Clippers move to say Seattle any goodwill he gained by sacking Sterling would be lost and then some.

You guys will be fine. I don't t see Rivers, Griffin, Jordan, Crawford, Paul and crew wanting to go anywhere since Sterling is out of the picture.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
