Send a message without getting ejected/suspended. I prefer the hard foul route. Not just to the scrub that committed the initial hard/flagrant foul, but to the opposing team's star player. Hit the other team where it hurts and see what happens. Some people may not like that and think that it's not fair, but it is what it is.

exactly.

it does me no good to have Blake foul Marreese Speights hard.
Marreese Speights fouls you hard and you want to use the "I'm going to foul them back hard" route, get Steph or Klay really good.

That's the one and only option I see. Blake just needs to be himself and react the way he'd react, and stop listening to anyone that tries to tell him how he should react. Play your game and react how it comes naturally, if it makes you flinch, then go on and flinch, if it pisses you off and you feel the need to throw a punch then go on and deal with the consequences later. He needs to not give a f*ck about who thinks he's soft or who thinks he's a fake thug or whatever stupid thoughts cross people's minds. Focus on playing the game to the best of your abilities and react to this stuff like you would if you didn't expect it. Don't worry, Doc is gonna do his job better than anyone to work the refs and the league to deal with this stuff.

Hopefully the people close to him stops trying to get in his head and make him have any of this on the back of his head. I thought Billups was a real prick when he tried to tell publicly what Blake should be doing.

Blake needs to knock someone's teeth out.
