I can't believe I'm saying that cause I was truly disappointed following the championship games since I hate both teams, but they put on a hell of a show and that ending was one for the ages. As much as people complain about that play call, it wasn't THAT bad. Yeah I agree you should run it in with Marshawn, but if they stop him, they burn a timeout and have to throw the ball on 3rd down giving the Pats a huge advantage. Hindsights 20/20, but in the moment it was the most logical playcall. I can't even blame Wilson since Lockette looked completely open as he threw it, Butler just made one hell of a play and knew where the ball was going from the moment it was snapped. People need to stop putting the blame on the playcall and Wilson and give credit where credits due. For an undrafted rookie, Butler had the most poise I've ever seen. He made a great play on the ball on the play before when Kearse made that amazing catch and then recovered to tackle him after he realized that he caught. And after all of that, he came back the next play and made a Superbowl saving pick. He needs to get the recognition he deserves.

best Super Bowl of all time, from what i can remember, is the "wide Right" game where Jeff Hostetler and the underdog Giants beat the mightly Bills. nobody thought Jim Kelly / Thurman Thomas / Bruce Smith / Andre Reed / James Lofton powerhouse could lose to already an underdog with a backup QB ran Giants. and the way it finished... just wow. Norwood became the worst football folklore.
ehhhhh f it.

Ah well! Season's over. And look forward to next season.

simple. negotiating leverage. Marshone gets the last TD he gets the glory and his payday goes up another floor. this is the reason why it is always a bad idea for the head coach to also have personnel power.

I get what you're saying. At the same time, it sounds like politics as well. Another crazy episode in the NFL.

how does a Magic fan become the mod of the Grizzlies' forum?

Easy question.

Before the Grizzlies moved to Memphis, I followed the Magic for the longest. Mostly due to former University of Memphis star Penny Hardaway from nearly 20 yrs ago. When he was traded to the Magic, I followed his game during his time in Orlando. Before I knew it, I started to like the rest of the team as well considering who was on the roster at the time. Good times. Be glad when they get back to prominence though. As for the Grizz, they moved to my hometown back in 2001.Given the fact, I like bball, I started following the Grizz as well and been following them since.
