joe Johnson misses the free throws, gets a lucky bounce, and makes a long three. not the clips day. they needed jj in the last few minutes to keep the bone head plays from happening. hope this back thing goes away real soon. he is having a great year.

Yeah, the schedule is pretty tough going forward. That is why you can't afford to drop games like the this. I just want the Clippers to make the playoffs. They have proven they can win on the road so having home court advantage isn't that vital.

why are you talking like this?

we have the 4th best record in the division.
the 8th seed is 5 and a half games behind us.

I'm not saying that they will drop way down- but I doubt they win much more than half of their games for the next 15-16 games. I hope otherwise, but it will be tough

thank God I can't post in the General Discussion.

DJ thread is made blaming him for the Brooklyn loss because of his 2/12 FT shooting. Who is in there slamming him the most?
Clipper fans.

I'm glad it's baseball season man. Never thought I'd see our own fan base do this to our team because they're disappointed in their play in a 33-16 season (which is directly on pace for where we were last year).

How you mean? it's just M2V doing his usual show, the rest of the half a dozen Clipper fans I see there, are defending DJ and looking at things with some perspective.

Bruh

The Clippers are the reason they lost, not some random shots made.

I've seen some low iq stuff from this team a lot and last night was no exception. Blake with the dumbest foul on the planet at the wrong time for no reason at all and before that he looked his usual hesitant self under pressure. The guy still takes too long to make moves.

This team is good but not good enough. Great teams close these kinds of games out not choke up in this manner . Yes stuff happens sometimes but stuff happens to this team a lot usually with some bone headed stuff going on like last night. Don't expect them to pull out miracles when it's even more heated against really good wc teams just out of chance.

They had Chris Paul shooting 3s from the side when you know he is most effective taking them at the top of the arc. It just looked all weird and out of sorts and the coach didn't seem to come up with anything to put things back in order.

A cp3 drive a Matt Barnes cut and they score..the rest of the time they looked like they had no plan at all. It's sad but teams like this that has been together this long should not be making these low iq plays and decisions so much. I don't think doc knows what the heck he's doing anymore.

kdre, have to agree with your last statement. I really like doc and our guys but in these type of games we have underachieved. doc needs to have a better game plan. cp3 and blake need to make all-star plays when the game is on the line. hopefully they can get this fixed in the last half of the season.

They should man, I hope they can.. I just dont know. They've been together long enough to where they should be above the 4th seed right now but they're pretty much par for the course at this point, I dont see growth to be honest and that's the scary part, because the other top 5 teams sans OKC with their injuries have all grown and the Clippers are going to have to face them again.

Blake worked on his jumper a bit but what else?
Notes: Rookie Rudy Gay twisted his left ankle trying to guard McGrady late in the third quarter and limped to the bench. He returned with 5:51 left, then returned to the bench about a minute later - http://www.nba.com/games/20061231/MEMHOU/recap.html

SMH at the loss, we should have had this. I thought we were better than this and our recent stretch doesn't get any easier.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

We should be 3-1 right now

Have to strike this one up and win the next one.

MartinToVaught wrote:BTW, there's a reason I didn't give a crap about the Spurs game. We've blown them out every year in the CP3 era and it hasn't meant a damn thing for either team. They'll probably win it all again and we'll lose in the first round of the playoffs again.

This is totally inappropriate, but I'm a little curious as to what you yell out when you orgasm. Is it something like "ahhhnotthebestactually!" ?
