DeMarcus Cousins still hates Chris Paul...

It was looking like a blowout early on. I'm glad that the gap has closed.

I'm going for CP. I don't care too much after that.

Russell Westbrook took 28 shots.

I hate having him and KD in all star games.

CP3 finishes with 12 points (6/13 shooting), 6 rebounds, 15 assists, 2 steals, 2 turnovers, +3 in 26 minutes. He actually logged the most minutes on the West. Kerr's trying to wear him out.

Fairly entertaining game. CP3 had some nice stats and Westbrook went off. Another all star game has come and gone, I'll watch a replay of it sometime tomorrow.

KD is the reason the west lost last year. And Blake would've been MVP tip KD went into chuck mode.

Zack LaVine was awesome last night

Allstar game was good. I am ready for Thursday. Bring on the Spurs

Paul Dishes Out 15 Assists As West Wins

Image

It was the eighth straight All-Star Game selection for Paul and the seventh time playing in the game. He’s finished with double-digit points six times and double-digit assists six times, and this was his fifth double-double in the All-Star Game in his career.

Paul said he didn’t know he was the all-time NBA All-Star Game assists per game leader, but he said that’s a cool accomplishment. His 15 assists tied his All-Star Game career-high, which he set in 2013 when he also scored 20 points and was named the MVP. He had a double-double again last year as well, when he finished with 11 points and 13 assists.

After another successful All-Star Game appearance, Paul was surrounded by his kids and ready to get home to get some family time.

“It was cool, tiresome, but always a blessing,” Paul said of the weekend. “It’s time to get out of here. I’ve got a game on Thursday, practice on Tuesday. I’m trying to spend a little bit of time with my kids.”

Paul said he’s been texting with his Clippers teammates, and it was a strange feeling not to be with Blake Griffin this All-Star trip. He looks forward to getting to see his teammates again soon.

“I miss them guys,” Paul said. “This All-Star Game wasn’t the same without Blake.”

Rowan Kavner, Clippers.com

CP is now 3rd all-time for all-star assists (90 assists) behind Magic Johnson (127) and Isiah Thomas (97).
