Clippers broadcaster Ralph Lawler getting star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Ralph Lawler always been a star among the Clippers faithful.
And, in 2016, that stardom is headed to Hollywood as Lawler, the team's longtime broadcaster, will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it was announced on Monday.
Lawler, who's being inducted under the radio category, joins the Class of 2016 with the likes of Kevin Hart, Quentin Tarantino, Bradley Cooper, Steve Carell, Kurt Russell, Tracy Morgan, Kathy Bates, LL Cool J, Bruno Mars and more.
Lawler, who will call his 37th season of Clippers basketball (a good part of them with Prime Ticket) in 2015-16, was also honored with 'Ralph Lawler Night' at Staples Center in early March.
Lawler joins Los Angeles TV/radio legends Chick Hearn (Lakers), Vin Scully (Dodgers) and Bob Miller (Kings) on the Walk of Fame.
