Just as I feared. Collison was a big contributor in beating us and the Kings were up for playing against the Clippers. To the Clips' credit, we at least started off well but the defense was bad, our shooting was horrendous, and we lost the rebounding battle yet again. Redick was the key tonight and the Kings did a good job of relatively neutralizing his production even if he did have a game-high 22 points.

Faltered in the clutch again. I might have to do an entire team clutch report. There's something about those final seconds that affects the entire team beyond Chris Paul.

You can see the importance of Griffin and DJ tonight. There were like three plays where Cole took JJ out of the play with screens he was suppose to get him open with the flow was just off. For as much as CP loves feeding Cole can see that not getting those high screens to get him open made it harder on him to get going.

We saw that if the jump shots aren't falling we struggle greatly creating alternative offense at the rim. Was a strong effort but the Kings were flowing and we just didn't have the shots falling or defense to grind through.

Lance should be getting another look soon Luc, Austin, and Wes have been sketchy on shots lately.

Games won't get any easier. Teams are going to look to get Cole in foul trouble to make us down size. Harden and Lebron could create big problems in this area alone.

As it stands today, the Sacramento Kings are 9th place and in the lottery. With this loss, Clippers are now 20-3 against lottery teams. The current 8th seed is the Utah Jazz with a record of 11-22. If the Kings make the playoff charts, you can go back to this loss as the reason why. Clippers have a habit of turning lottery teams into future playoff contenders. The Warriors were in that bubble.

Yea, he certainly does not have the same familiarity with running those plays, which is to be understood. I don't think Cole had even played much with the starters in practice.
