Ralph Lawler deserves a statue

There has been a lot of discussion about statues in front of Staples with Shaq getting one.

I think the Clippers should push to get a statue of Lawler beside Chick Hearn. He has been with the Clippers through all the hard times and is a consummate professional. I think it would be a very nice tribute to him as his career winds down.

Perhaps we should start a campaign for Ralph.

It's going to take a Kickstarter for that to happen, I can tell you that much.

But yes, I agree. If no Clipper is going to get their jersey retired, especially with their bad history, at least give Ralph Lawler his due.
