I know we lead the league in +- differential and we have a 5 - 1 record, tied for the best, but why is it people say we are on top of the division? We lost to OKC and they have the same record... so we are in second looking up at them. That's why next week in OKC they need to play like this?

Clips have a better conference record. 5-1 to 4-1. If we had an equal record to them in both conference and overall, OKC would be ahead in seeding due to H2H record.

I gotta say, so far I'm liking what Speights brings to the team even more than what Cole did for us last season. As much as I loved Cole's hustle and pick and roll plays, having an extra genuine 3P threat out there seems much more important. After striking out with Mullens and Hawes, Doc finally found that stretch big who can actually make a difference.

A bit disappointed that Wes isn't more of a factor this season. I actually expected him to challenge Luc for the starting SF spot, but that doesn't seem realistic right now. Maybe he can find his groove as the season progresses.

Oh, and Felton is a clear upgrade over Prigs. He could do a decent job running the team with Blake if CP misses some games (hopefully not, knock on wood).

I agree, Speights and Felton seem to be good acquisitions. Speights is a better defender than I thought he was and has some good hands too. I knew he could shoot but he has more diversity to his game than I thought. Felton is a solid pro who is a real point guard. He can be trusted off the bench. Prigioni was almost unplayable against certain teams. Definite upgrade.

cause technically we are. well, more technically we're tied for the top. stuff like head to head matchups are only for factoring in playoff seeding anyway.
