Does DJ know who this Dirk Nowitzki guy is? I heard he used to be an NBA MVP or something. You might want to close out and put a hand in his face at the 3 point line if you're assigned to guard him.

We're just lucky the three has been going in. We would be down by double digits if they didn't.

Well, if anybody really wanted to know where this team would stand without CP3 and Blake, now you know. We can't even beat Dallas at home with a 38 year old Dirk playing half a game after being out for almost 2 months.

The offense without CP3 in the 4th quarter was literally give Crawford the ball and clear out. Redick's shooting is basically wasted without somebody attracting the defense and passing him the ball in his comfort zone.

Doc is the worst coach in the NBA. The injury excuse doesn't fly tonight - Dallas sucks, and even a mediocre coach still wins this game. I'm really sick of his horrible rotations, not to mention how he's destroyed our roster and future as GM. Unfortunately, he conned Ballmer into thinking he's the greatest thing since sliced bread and he will never be fired. :banghead:

This is why I laugh when people overrate DJ's defense. He's lucky that offensively-skilled bigs like Dirk, Horford and Marc Gasol are a rarity in today's league. If he played in the '90s or early 2000s, he would have been slaughtered down low on a nightly basis. On top of that, he doesn't do nearly enough on offense to justify his contract. I always thought spending that money to plug the holes we've had on the wings for ages was a better use of it than bringing back DJ, and my opinion hasn't changed.

Jamal Crawford vs Dallas Mavericks. I'm taking the Mavericks. Because that's what the 4th quarter was. Did we not learn anything from the playoffs when Paul and Griffin deferred to Crawford? He's fool's gold. He'll make a few bad shots and it seems like he's on fire but then you remember he always shoots a low percentage for a reason. I get that he's the best option on bailout buzzer beaters but he cannot be your primary ball handler. His MO is to shoot and take bad shots. And when he does pass it up, nobody is expecting him to pass and it turns into a turnover.

No plays, no ball movement. Horrific rebounding because Doc refuses to stop playing small. We had 3 guards on the floor most of the time...I wonder why we were getting destroyed on the offensive glass? You have a legit SF in Wes Johnson who played 5 minutes. One of your only two backup PFs played 8 minutes in Bass. I don't count Pierce because he may be on the roster but should be in retirement.

The last 6 minutes was awful and we still had a chance to win. We got stagnant and we had no ball movement. I honestly felt lucky whenever a shot went in.

To be honest I knew Chris wouldn't play today and I didn't like our chances tonight.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

DJ wasn't paid with cap space, the money he's making wouldn't be available to use on other players.

i really like the comments here today because everyone sees what I see. doc is clueless and it is sad. hero ball was the play of the day. felton tried to be cp3 and that was a failure. jj is basically a decoy now. he has to get the passes quicker and these guys just can not do it nor or they even trying to do it. for the first time I had to turn it off at half time. I just can not watch pp and Austin play. it appears doc is on a mission to make his son an nba player or else no matter the cost.

you could tattoo that on his face and he still wouldn't comprehend it.
