Someone posted this in the comments of that clip and I think it will be very relevant to our season:

I think than Doc is a honest man with a logical thinking mindset. He has a big picture of overall situation and I don't agree with those who are targeting him as a usual suspect for all Clippers failures.

Doc is one of the best in the business when it comes to talking to media and saying all the right things. But as a coach and (former) GM that made a lot of questionable decisions on and off the court, he should be held accountable for his failures. Not saying he's the only one to blame, it's just that he could've done way more to put us in the best possible position to win.
Let's see how well he coaches this season, with no more distractions from running the front office, fewer expectations and a better balanced roster than in the past.

So I barely watched any of the preseason games. 2 questions:

Did DJ look like he was missing CP at all?
How did Blake look as "the man"?

I want to see how they do without their "coach on the floor," one Christopher Emmanuel Paul.

I love CP to death but it was he who slowed down the game with the DRIBBLEDRIBBLEDRIBBLE. Doc insists he's a ball movement coach, but CP had the last word because HE had the ball. Already without CP, I see 10x more ball movement--even on our z-team the other night vs. the fLakers. And you can see how much Blake and Gallo love passing. At the moment, we don't seem to miss CP.

Or at least Blake doesn't. :P

Not that I blame Chris. Our starting 5 always ranked in the top 5 until last year and we won 50 games like clockwork. My pet theory is that DRIBBLEDRIBBLEDRIBBLE was Chris trying to get a blow after working so hard on the defensive end then bringing the ball up, which is why he asked Doc to start Austin instead of JJ, who is utterly useless at both.

DJ looked fine as long as Teodosic was on the court.

Griffin looked solid. His perimeter shooting seems to have improved even more
