Oh spit, MK. :falloff:

"Chris Paul — you didn't want to be in the Clippers locker room, that's why you asked for a trade. Why are you trying to get back over there?"

There it is.

I didn't blame Chris for bailing on Blake and Doc [and Austin] to seek greener pastures with The Beard. But that also meant HOU trading off Lou, Trezz and Dekker--as well as Pat Bev--to make room for Chris's contract. Now WE have depth. Finally.

And now Chris is working for Mike D'Antoni. There is no "D" in "D'Antoni." Meanwhile, Doc even has Blake buying in.

I'm a Philly boy and I loved Barkley bigtime. And I love his punk ass too but I think Chris is going to fit into that category. A Hall of Famer, a winner. But not a champion.

Chris should have stayed put and become our Ernie Banks. Now he has no home.

Or something like that.

Also, Ringer NBA podcast said that when Austin saw that Ariza was outside, he supposedly said "let that punk ass in."

As you see above, the red suits are security at Staples.

I dont get how they could try to barge in, the Clips could call 911, the police show up, and these tweets show up that quickly.

You realize that so much of what was tweeted last night was misinformation, right? Basically it seems like nothing was nearly as exciting as the tweets made it out to be, but it was fun while it lasted

Just more in shock that some how the joke was on the Clippers.

Like...there had to be some reason for it other than 2 out of shape idiots on TNT saying the Clippers called the police.

Props to both Austin and Ariza for doing the right thing.

On a side note, Austin might be the most "Clipper" Clipper ever. He's an easy target and takes a lot of hits both on and off the court, but always stands up tall in the end. Fall down 7 times, get up 8.

Hopefully Game 7 against the Spurs is #1 in his book, as it should be.

This game may have made a lot of headlines, but the Spurs game was far more important in terms of relevancy for this franchise.

I have faith he knows the difference between hype and hype with substance.
I root for players always, organizations sometimes.

I don't know how I'm ever going to forgive the Clippers' new front office.

I hope Austin figures it out and proves everybody wrong.

His situation irks me (how he got here, his contract) but Austin as a person/competitor does not.

Everything ended up very anti-climactic, and all this was due to a misunderstanding.

Rivers said he yelled out, "Do it! Do it!" to Ariza and that both cameras and Ariza would verify that. But at the time, "he didn't hear what I said. [So Ariza] turned around and said, 'What the f--- did you just say to me?' Then he called me some stuff. And I'm a grown man. I'm not going to take nothing from nobody, just like he wouldn't. So I took offense to it. And he didn't know what I said. So after the game he came in the locker room and his whole thing was, 'What'd he say? What'd he say?'"

"Trev called me and was like, 'My bad, man. I thought you said something. Obviously the game was emotional.' I was like, 'My bad, man. I wasn't trying to antagonize.'"
