better than expected: defense, he tries and he is not that bad at all
as expected: impact on the game, not that many assists per game but the offense with him is better and more fluid than without him. good indicator is W-L ratio with him and without him, the difference is big (unlike Blake's impact)
disappointing: shooting, idk why he shoots that bad since he was always an excellent shooter until he came to LAC
Bottom line - points / scoring is the most important in this sport, so the overall impression is pretty disappointing. He is much better than what he displayed so far, so he HAS TO get his shooting together. And when defenses start to cover him more tightly, this will open up the floor and assists will also come easier.

He is good on offense overall. He can shoot somewhat respectably and is a great passer. I’m disappointed with his foot speed on both ends of the court however- particularly defense. I don’t agree with your defensive assessment- he tries, but it seems like every player easily drives by him. He compromises their defense on a very regular basis

You do have to wonder how much of his lack-of-speed has to do with the plantar injury

Re: Teodosic's season so far
He was solid defensively for a little while. Then the last few games showed how bad he truly is.
If the Clippers win the championship next year I'm getting banned from RealGM

Re: Teodosic's season so far
Yeah I wouldn't rush too much to take any meaningful conclusions of his NBA career so far, certainly not to the point of thinking his impact is big because the team's record is good with him while Blake would be the opposite.
We spoke about it a little bit on another thread, but a lot of the supposed impact on the team wins when he's on the court is based on random stuff like the opponent shooting a lot worse both from the FT line and from 3 when he's on the court.
That said, the ball does move a lot better when he's in, and while a lot of his off the bounce 3's are clanking hard, I'm not worried about his shot at all. It was always gonna be an inconsistent rookie year.

Re: Teodosic's season so far
He has gotten some matchups on defense that definitely made you understand why he's not considered a good defender, but he's not been awful.
Offensively he certainly helps the ball movement. His poor shooting originally hurt but he picked it up. More recently his on/off has not been as good as the competition balances out,but overall for the season, it's still solid. He's still only played 595 minutes, so the sample size isn't bad, but isn't huge either.
All in all, he a nice player to have on the roster, especially at his salary.

Wait, so you're saying he HASN'T had an impact on these things???

He does a good boogey face when guys are shooting FT's, throws them off
