It is such an odd story and I loved Rasual during his Clipper tenure.

Re: Around the NBA II
So crazy. People have to be careful out there, going two to three times the speed limit is just not worth it. No mention if any substances were involved, but that can at times be the reasoning for such speeding. So sad, both such young people.
mkwest, about the pictures, yea, awful, said they were speeding two to three times the limit, he lost control and crashed into a wall, just awful.

Lakers at It Again
This is the Lakers' 2nd violation within a year after the Paul George incident. Why aren't they forfeiting draft picks?I've said before that everyone including the league was pulling for the Lakers to return back to prominence but this blatant favoritism by the NBA is disgusting.

Re: Around the NBA II
Looks like DJ's not getting traded if that is the actual deal. The Cavs can't trade the Brooklyn pick now, and no asset that anyone can offer for DJ is anywhere near as valuable as the Brooklyn pick.

Re: Around the NBA II
Dan Gilbert just freed up max cap space for the Lakers this summer (Lakers just need to stretch Deng). Now he can point the finger at LeBron when he leaves, again.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

Re: Around the NBA II
This trade is very suspicious, to say the least. Why would the Cavs go from offering nothing but trash for DeAndre Jordan to trading their first-round pick for worse players and creating space for two max contracts on the Lakers next summer? It makes no sense.

That'll work for a season or two at most, but they'll be a long time in the cellar after he's gone, as long as Gilbert's at the top still. Don't think they'll have the incredible lottery luck they had ever again to save him either.
They're really doing everything they can to push Lebron away since Griffin left, it's really weird.
