[color=#0040BF]What? Facts make your head hurt or something? Go back and read and try comprehending what I've written. I've already praised him and stated that he could be an effective player if he continues to make adjustments. Also, notice how you two dipsticks are the only ones fangirling over him thinking he's fine as is. Do you think either of you are smarter than Pop, SVG, or the rest of the NBA? Are you seriously going to argue that he deserves more playing time over DeAndre Jordan or Montrezl Harrell? Try to make time for a visit to reality once in a while and buy a clue while you're at it.

No one claimed he should be the first option, specially not over DJ, but nice strawman attempt though, here, have a cookie. I don't think he's going to reinvent himself at this age, and with that kind of physique, but the games like this one show he definitely has his place in the modern game, besides how often do you see 3rd center make history the first time he steps on court?

He became one of nine players in NBA history to score at least 18 points in 15 minutes or less without attempting a three-pointer. He was the first since he accomplished the feat himself on March 23, 2016, while playing for San Antonio.

He's the only player in league history with more than one such game.

Are you seriously still at this ish, Bobbsey? Just take my cookie and give it to Boban while you're at it. Being a footnote in some obscure historical context, which you didn't even attribute a source to, may be something to get excited about where you come from, but for the rest of us on planet Earth, it typically draws a yawn. Why doesn't he try to go for the longest bee beard in the Guinness book of world records for his next act, especially since he couldn't muster much more than 3 minutes, a turnover, and a -1 rating in the next game against the Rockets?

Hey, nimrod. You've acknowledged that he shouldn't be playing over DeAndre Jordan and he certainly doesn't deserve time over Montrezl Harrell, so where does that leave him? That's right. As a 3rd-string center, which is something that he's always been, so why exactly are you wasting our time with your fangirling?

I apologize in advance that I don't know what this means, Neddy. I assume you are speaking of

The Portland Winterhawks are a junior ice hockey team based in Portland, Oregon, playing in the Western Hockey League, one of three leagues making up the Canadian Hockey League

and that the crowd was 98.6% caucasian and that you and/or Mrs. Neddy are not.

Therefore what?

Thank you in advance for your forthcoming reply.
Best,
Tom

suffering from tetanus?

it speaks far more about who you are and how your thought process works than anything else. of course when you see an American on foreign soil you haven't seen for years, you will be happy to see one and would love to talk to that person and share your experiences on that foreign soil. that is the natural thing to do for normal people.
when you have been a hockey fan for decades since Wayne, Luc, and Marty were Kings, but never met another hockey fan who is not a caucasian, especially to find out that one of your friends whom you have known for a half a dozen years, and you have had tireless discussions about baseball, basketball, and football was also "the other" minority hockey fan you have never seen and not get excited? now that, would be unnatural.

but you had to turn it all about your angry white men's twisted POV... and that, my dear troll, is your problem, and to borrow your own words, it looks like a pretty petty, and damn surely, pretty douchey.

thought so. my Canadian cousins are diehards man, I called my little cousin Joe for his 35th birthday just this January and he was driving alone to Buffalo from Toronto for his Leaves vs Sabres game. funny thing is, they can't understand my obsession with baseball. in family photos we all look alike, but my elder cousin Elliot (who's claim to fame was playing in junior leagues as a teen with fellas who made it to the NHL in the 80s and the 90s.) who works as a high school hockey coach and a weekend youth minister, always calls me a bloody Yank, LOL

When you come out to Vegas again, we'll go to a Golden Knights game. I think you'll be surprised how into the team Vegas is. Vegas and hockey doesn't seem like a natural fit, or even an unnatural fit... but they used to have a minor league team here and it was a pretty good crown for what the team was. (I heard, all those years of working graveyard and going to school made it too hard for me to go)

My wife and I went to a game in December and it was loud! Plus, I loved that they are honoring first responders from the shooting we had at every game. Plus, as a veteran, it gave me goose bumps to hear the crowd singing the national anthem. I thought it was a bit cheesy when they yelled out KNIGHTS during the song though!
