Shai is so good. So many easy layups, it's insane.

Everything pretty much ran through Shai and Thornwell tonight and Thronwells chucking ruined alot of Jerome's touches. He's going to slowly improve but I would like to see Thornwell get moved to the bench just so we can see how the offense looks with Rome and Shai being the main focus on the offense- basically unleash Jerome. Low key our future is bright

Sindarius has worked very hard to learn to shoot. He checks the D box. But he can't playmake and is no menace on the boards either. He shot excellently in Game 2 but was a loss otherwise. I really like him but unless something changes in camp and preseason, I'd cut him.

As he admitted himself, he's an offensive liability. He's too slow and short to take it to the rack and he can't shoot either. I really want to have Sin prove me wrong, but so far his dominant college skills ain't worth spit in the NBA. :(

Sin is definitely a keeper and he won't take no more than five shots or so per game in the regular season. He's the perfect guy to bring in off the bench and sic him on the opponents star player. You throw him on a Harden, Steph, Clay, Westbrook, PG, and even Bron. Love his defense. Evidently he has a green light in SL but this won't be the case once the season starts. Evans kinda has me worried. He might be the odd man out along with CJ, Milos, and Dekker.

The game seems to come easy to SGA. His ability to drive to the hoop with either hand is impressive. Smooth stepback jumpers, follow through on 3's, passing ability, ballhawk on defense. The guy is the complete package. Gonna be fun to see him grow.

just watching him play you can tell he knows how to play this game and his moves seem really mature. is this guy really a rookie?

Sin can't be as bad as he was last night, but nothing has changed. Remember, he lost his minutes to a G-Leaguer last year.

“There were probably times when we needed a stop, but they couldn’t really put me out there because I was a liability on the offensive end. They probably didn’t have the confidence in me that I could make the shot consistently. This summer, I’m trying to prove them wrong.”

I think you might be right about Jawun, although I think a guy who can bring the ball up and initiate the offense [and he's great at it] is always a bullet worth having in your gun. We have Shai and I suppose Pat's OK at it and...that's about it.

Robinson leaves the game with a right leg injury. Powell is working on him. This may knock him out of tomorrow's game against the Lakers.

Clips jumped on Washington early. 11-2 run followed up by a 12-4 run. Led by as much as 28. Some iffy calls imo to get them back in it. Then Clippers took their foot off the gas and let the lead drop down to about 10.

Time for Jerry West to tell the media that the rooks or at worst that Shai is untouchable in a trade scenario. I want Kawhi on the team but not for a fleecing of the team when he's a free agent in 2019

I'll just say it now: any Kawhi trade that includes SGA is a loss for us, taking into account Kawhi's injuries and drama compared to Shai's upside. The worst thing we can do right now is make a panic move and abandon the rebuild because we're scared of a Lakers team that's just going to lose to Golden State anyway.

The only Kawhi trade that makes sense is one where we don't have to give up much or take bad contracts. Short of that, move on and focus on the team we have now.

5 rebs and 6 assts [good]
4 TOs [very bad]

Took all the fun out of Summer League but I agree with the decision. Shai in particular was playing hard minutes and Jerome's knee and ankle were gamey.

Sindarius 5-17, 1-7 from distance. Jawun 0-7. :nonono:
