Part of it I think he gets overly agrresive to compensate for when his shot isn’t falling. It’s not helping in back to back games we have seen big runs happen from him pressing and getting beat sucking the defense in to help.
You're not listening. Who should have guarded Doncic instead? Y'all see the tree but not the forest. Play someone else, anybody else. The Backup QB fans.
Shai was minus-19 in only 19 minutes. Now HE got baked. Bradley was only minus-4 in 28 minutes, guarding their best player so Tobias didn't have to. Doncic, for all his 32 points, still finished at minus-1. THAT'S the pudding.
Hey, I wish we had somebody better than Avery too, believe me. But fortunately he knows he's a mess too and only shot 4 times. And I do look for Ty to take more of his minutes.
Your blind obsession to twist logic would keep you in said forest. You want to bring up Shai he had a bad game and you know what happen Doc sat his ass down that’s what you do when a player is struggling.
We have already established Wallace and Beverly were having better games on both ends. Also notice your counter arguments tend to be in absolutes as if Doc has no other choice in the mistakes he has made. You let Beverly or Wallace finish that game because they at least showed that can play within the team defense.
Those 32 points a good chunk came from roasting Bradley and giving his team momentum. It’s the exact same thing that happen against Portland but the team didn’t have Lou to bail them out and get hot.
Again with the absolutes in these arguments make no sense. We know Beverly and Wallace played better and even SGA in his struggles has proven to be capable of playing better late in games. It probably wouldn’t of been the worse idea either to put Gallonari on Luka who has shown to be able to deal with quicker wings being patient. There was no logic to Bradley playing a second of that 4th quarter.
6'-nothing Beverley guarding 6'7" Doncic? That's unrealistic.
As for Ty, I agreed and as a matter of fact he is taking more of Bradley's minutes. I'm not happy with Avery either, let's get that straight.
But there really is no reponse to this fact, which is why I'm making a defense against the pack:
