He got injured at the wrong time. This would've been the perfect time for him to get some run and show what he can do

Injured or not he was not playing before the injury either.
So far he is 48th amongst rookies in minutes played, 46th in FG attempts.
Unfortunately it does not look like a good draft pick. He is not young enough to be a project draft either, you dont do those in the lottery, this is not baseball. There are 32 rookies in the league who younger than him this year, and 20 of those have played more minutes than he has so far.

I have no idea how he will turn out but its way too early to say. I remember how bad Joe Johnson looked in his first 40 or so games. I was shocked when he became a star player.
