OK

enjoy the game

tied with 21 seconds left
It's all Avery's fault

Yes I saw him give Kemba a wide open 3 to close and miss read a screen leaving Scott alone and pissed on Kemba. That play lead to a drive and kick with Avery giving no effort to recover and a big bucket. He was brutal to close when they didn’t trap and I give more credit to Scott on the trap.

Thornwell should of ate up some of those minutes he didn’t earn to play 40 mins.

Great win by the Bench and Harris in the 4th

Hornets need to blow it up that team will never go anywhere with Kemba as the first option in that market

Man, why can't Tobias at least close to this every night? Some days he looks like a mentally check-out scrub on his way out of the leage, other nights he looks like an all-star.
Also, Shai has been pretty bad tonight. I think he is young and when he is not focused and confident, he just steps back lets Lou or Beverly run things.

Tobias 14 of his 17 second half points in the last 7 minutes, including the gamewinner
came out of his usual 2nd half coma

and yes, Shai was a team-worst minus-18, in only 18 minutes
the stats bear you out

my facts are no match for your opinions

Sindarius got the minutes he earned, all of which were side-by-side with Bradley
it's not either/or--
the combination worked, and Doc stuck with it

and we won

let's also acknowledge that Kemba is playing his mind out this season, and is pretty tough to guard. You can't expect hid to be double teamed all the time, if the result is giving up an open 3 to someone else.

exactly

Doc said we weren't trapping, only trying to deny him the ball
which we succeeded at a few times

and yes, you're not going to shut down these guys, just make 'em work for it
Kemba was only plus+3 in 39 minutes, which is good enough

we make it up with our bench outscoring theirs

Doc needs to rely more on the double teams because the first half was brutal.Thornwell did pretty well out there. If Bradley’s not being productive there are a bunch of players that can fill other holes. 40 mins to do nothing but trap and get burned one on one is shameful

the numbers say otherwise

Avery-Sindarius was the winning backcourt combination
along with Scott-Trezz in the frontcourt
with Lou/Tobias doing most of the scoring

those 6 won the game
and made up a 20-point deficit

as for double-teams, we won without them
we've also been seriously burned by them

Kemba got his points but nobody else killed us
that was the plan
and it worked

Seems like this was before the 4th. That trap was a life saver late in the game
