Robinson shot over 50% from 3 in G-League. I think having to do the rest of it [mostly D] at the NBA level is what's blowing his mind.
I thought Rome would figure out how to drive in the NBA and still be a scorer, but did you expect he'd actually master the 3-ball so soon? [Sindarius and Ty never did and probably never will.]
And at this point, he's looking up at Shamet, let's face it. In fact, Shamet was getting 21 mpg on a playoff team on 45%/41% shooting. I don't think Shai would get anything near that many minutes on the Sixers.
Shai on the 76ers absolutely would they still need help on the wings now. He would be taking minutes away from TJ or be playing on and off ball but yeah he wouldn’t start but be near sixth man.
OK I won't start a fight [esp while the Clippers are winning] but I watch both teams and disagree about Shai. I also have seen TJ provide spark [esp in last year's playoffs!] that Shai has never provided as a Clipper at any time. The Sixers keep looking for bigger wing alternatives but in the end McConnell keeps getting the minutes.
It doesn't mean I'm right about Shai and the Sixers and him being a playoff-rotation player, we cannot know. But I am right that Shamet won 20 mpg on the top-4 seed Sixers. For a rookie to crack the rotation of a playoff team is awesome. As a Clipper, Shamet so far is justifying the Sixers' trust in him. [And my trust and Jerry's and Lawrence's and Ballmers, etc.]
SGA on the Sixers would be a problem cause he would be a better fit at pg than Simmons whose a great athlete but can't shoot a lick. And his lack of being able to shoot will become a detriment to the team in the post season. And no way you play TJ or SGA

I'm not seeing SGA's brilliance as a PG yet. He's just kind of out there. 10 ppg and 3 apg in 26 mpg is OK but the hype's died down lately.
As for Simmons' lack of a shot, Tobias's arrival in Philly has been a BIG deal for their spacing, which of course Simmons desperately needs.
As for TJ, they keep trying to bench him but it doesn't stick. Simmons and Embiid are kind of mellow and so is Tobias, so his fire gets them going. Dude humps.

Weird you're saying this as SGA is starting to break out and be more aggressive on offense since the Tobias trade. Not to mention he's also a two way player/defensive hound already. And I like TJ, he's a good serviceable backup who'll always have a job in the league but SGA gives you way more and has a huge ceiling if we can move past the emotional angle of rooting for a guy like TJ

Oh, TJ [undrafted] is already past his ceiling, LOL. Even at his peak, he doesn't put up all-around numbers like Shai--except for the assists. With Shai, I'm just not seeing the PG part yet. He had a 6-assist game vs IND and a 5-assist game vs the Celts, but he also had 5 TOs in each of those games. His 3-pt shooting is down to 33% after a terrible January [18.5%]. I'm certainly not giving up on him, but it's not unfair to say he's leveled off a lot after a flashy start.
