I was gonna come here and make this thread; first of all, right now is not really the time since the Clippers have a good thing going, but why is this guy not able to play more minutes? He's treated as a novelty. There have been plenty of guys his size and bigger who have logged starter's minutes.

What exists outside of the highlights that keeps him from seeing significant playing time?

Sorry for quoting your post so late, but this is so true; watching Knicks/Bucks earlier, I was just thinking how amazing it is (or maybe not [depending on how you look at it]) that we live in a world where Brook Lopez is pump-faking threes and slashing to the cup like a SF; in my day (when he was a rook), he only would've been allowed to step foot outside the arc to move the ball from the PG to SF, so kudos to him for adapting his game.
