Zubac was a team-worst minus-21. :(

I think the way to maximize Zu is put him in a leash like javale mgee. He's shouldn't play 20mins.

I think doc is giving him all the time in the preseason to iron some links out but if you click on the video right above around the six minutes Mark you'll see how zubac got the negative 21. Not really all his fault but he needs to be better

Who reminds you of whom?

Who reminds you of whom? (making comparisons for Clippers current roster)

Is it just me...?
I kinda see a spry, more nimble, Ron Artest in Mo Harkless. If nothing else, physically, there's something in the shoulders (idk). And there's an underlying New York-kind-of-crazy behind his eyes.

In case have haven't said it on RealGM, I'll say it now (for the record)... Both Paul George and Kawhi could/will likely average Career Highs in Assists per Game.

https://www.latimes.com/sports/clippers/story/2019-10-12/clippers-training-camp-report

When second-year Clippers guard Landry Shamet heard concerns about his team’s void at point guard this summer, he did not dismiss them out of hand.

Yet Shamet considered the worries overblown, in part because he envisioned nights like Thursday.

In a 111-91 loss to Denver in their third preseason game, the Clippers spread ballhandling duties among a range of players who kept the offense running smoothly, primarily in the first half. Shamet, three-time sixth man winner Lou Williams and rookie Terance Mann each recorded three assists and forward Kawhi Leonard added six in less than 11 minutes.

None fits the mold of a classic, playmaking ballhandler. Neither does Patrick Beverley, a combo guard who didn’t play because of an injury. Each, however, fits coach Doc Rivers’ criteria for the type of player he wants controlling the ball.

“Good players, smart players, high IQ players know how to play basketball,” Rivers said. “If [defenses] want to take him away, then he gives the ball to the open guy.”

    ...

Mann, after logging time at nearly every position but point guard at Florida State, is undergoing a transition to the role in the NBA that isn’t without its struggles. At times, opponents have deflected his dribble and coaches have had to yell at him to move to the correct spot from which to initiate the team’s sets. And yet he has 6-foot-7 size and has displayed preternatural passing vision.

Shamet, who earned a rookie reputation as a knock-down shotmaker, played point guard extensively while at Wichita State.

Williams scores effortlessly a but coaches call passing his most underrated skill.

“I was the ‘one’ and yet Lou initiated the first two out of three plays,” Shamet said. “It’s positionless [basketball] … we have plenty of guys who are comfortable within playmaking roles to be able to fill that void.”

    ...

To Shamet, worriers were thinking about it all wrong, too narrowly defining what a point guard should be. It is less about who brings the ball upcourt and more about whether the Clippers are prepared to make the extra pass. In Shamet’s case, that means identifying passing lanes even while sprinting off of pin-down screens looking for his own shot.

“Thinking about what you do offensively in a scoring mind-set to help get others involved,” he said.

And when it comes to handling the ball this season, several Clippers will be involved.

After some thought, I realized that I can not say this without sounding delusional... so I'll just go ahead and say it...

Me and Kawhi have a similar game. We play with the same nonchalant-appearing defensive intensity. When people talk about "court vision" they're referring to offensive play-making. Guys like me and Kawhi, we see both sides of the game, but exceptionally so on defense.

I haven't felt as kindred to a pro athlete since Troy Polamalu (Football).

If you wanna talk delusion, sometimes I still believe the reason Jerome was the #13th pick/6'5-6'6 SG was because Jerry West knew he'd become the next Kobe. He kinda has that young PokeMamba afro going on.. And this dunk!
