Though I got it from Jovan Buha, it's not really him who wrote this piece. Joe Vardon and Sam Amick are responsible:
Now, any move where a superstar is involved in a trade, it's a blow up. But the Clippers do get a proven facilitator (6.0 AST per game, career high 11.2 in 2016-17 season). He's a shooting guard, meaning faking the 1 is still in play, but if there's anyone who could fill the void of a point guard spot, it's Harden.

Heck no. PG is awesome, give him another shot. Harden is a cancer.
ALSO, does anyone know if Marcus Morris is a tradeable contract, or does he have a no trade clause?

Re: The Worst Case Trade: James Harden
WORST case? I have no idea what this poll means
if it means dumping PG's expiring contract on the Rockets for Harden's albatross one, I say sure
Kawhi is a one-way ticket to June anyway
go ALL-IN
I've watched Harden play often--he's lazy but not stupid on defense and he's really not the least bit selfish on offense
Beard and Kawhi are both basketball geniuses
it would be REALLY fun

Re: The Worst Case Trade: James Harden
I think I'm about it.
Only hesitancy I have is that a star coming here has to be the type that is interested in getting the Clippers over the hump. CP seemed into it. Kawhi seemed into it. Not sure if James would be into it.

Uh oh. Amick was the league source cop who broadcast the Bucks-Kings deal not being approved of, too.
Harden in LA would be lit, period.

Re: The Worst Case Trade: James Harden
No thanks on Harden. The way he plays the game is impossible to watch or respect, he's terrible in the playoffs and he cares more about partying than basketball. He'd probably make the front office trade Kawhi just like he's done to every other co-star he's played with. The Rockets gave this guy the LeBron treatment for Paul George results and it's still not good enough for him.
Fortunately, we have little to offer Houston in a trade.

First, by trading Paul George, Clippers are admitting the trade for him was a mistake and they should have kept Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari and all those seven picks. Clippers would have had to call Leonard's bluff outright, or proceed with Revenge Of The Role Players II. More Clipper hate for the media to feast on, not to mention being the biggest overnight bullseye in NBA history.
Then there's Harden the person. He's a distraction of the hooters kind. Certain strip club joints supposedly give him powers, according to some link out there that did research (I don't wanna post it because I'm not sure if the link is deemed NSFW, even if it's pertinent to basketball).*
On the bright side, should this trade go through, we'll have a cool nickname for Harden-Leonard: The Beard And The Board.
More importantly, not only will it keep the cost short (one player), it might help them get P.J. Tucker, another player the Clippers were previously interested in years ago.

Is there anyone who would still defend the PG trade? I haven't seen it.
