zubac looking a lot more like his old self is pretty big for this team. i was becoming resigned to the idea he'd be mediocre/bad all season. but if he can be himself, the bench improves dramatically and the sky is the limit for the team.

that was the best the Sacs could do, I think

held us under 120 and if they hadn't hit 48% from 3 it would have been even uglier

Damn, didn't even realize Zu had a double double but more importantly, he was playing stifling defense at the rim

Both Trezz and Zu's numbers are about the same as last year although in different roles [or teams!]. You is what you is. I haven't been disappointed in Zu at all, except that being bumped back to the second unit for Ibaka will (Please Use More Appropriate Word) his growth. But we're in WIN NOW mode and that's the way it's got to be.

Zu got 18 mpg last year and is at 18 mpg this year. I think I said last year that if he could get to 24 mpg that would be key and I'll say it again this year. It will benefit him, benefit Ibaka, and benefit the team.

Hey, he's not even 24 yet--only 5 months older than garbage-timer Kabengele. Zu's time will come.

I hated Walton as a player, and I hate him as a coach. How that bum bamboozled both the Lakers and the Kings into hiring him as head coach is beyond me.

He reminds me of a poor man's VDN

another good game for the drtg, btw. games 1-10 featuring reggie jackson 3-guard lineups can safely be disregarded in terms of what to expect from this team. we'll have a much clearer idea of what this team can really do going with games 11-20.

the word I used was a verb, colloquially employed as a noun for those whose mental development never reached full fruition

it begins with an "r"

as you mention it there must be something out there about VDN, huh?

13-year NBA career
210-184 .533 as a coach
dresses to the nines
knows the best Veal Scaloppini in every NBA city

there are some terminally crap franchises out there--how does VDN not even get a look??

quiet assassin, that's Kawhi's thing, his self image
NBA ninja
sneaks in to your castle, cuts your throat in your sleep, goes home to his own castle in San Diego

this is his ACTUAL castle in San Diego

so I just realized, Mr Headrom--Kawhi needed another superstar not on the floor but OFF THE FLOOR

to answer all the assshole questions from the press
THAT'S why he needs PG

and PG IS stepping up on the floor [12 assists tonight], so whatever he says OFF the floor has gravity

I think Zu has had more good games than any other bench player on the team so far and even though it’s not saying a lot the concern was over low by a lot.

Lou Will has been unplayable most of the games and Kennard has been hesitant and trying to find his way defensively. Marcus and Luke are trying to find their way with Lou back but overall everyone is trying hard. His rebounding has taken a push forward

Sure Kings aren't very good, and it seemed as if the Clips were strolling a bit in the first quarter. But when they turned it on, the guys showed how good they can be. Lately I have been too tied up to watch games live, everything is a late night taped viewing.

And, oh yeah, we are tied for best record in NBA with those other guys. OK, only game 15 but still. I'll take it. Clippers are for real. They seem to be gelling. I would love to see more of the younger guys continue to get minutes and develop, I think/hope that this will continue with lots of 4th quarter garbage time.
The Clipper fan understands the Book of Exodus better than anyone... what it's like to struggle 40 years in the wilderness... and Genesis.. why Cain went after Abel... So fLakers, look out... we're coming.
