How come Rondo does not start with the starting unit? Is it to stagger his minutes so he plays with both units?

At age 35, Rondo is at best a magic bullet. If you want him available and at 100% in the last 2 minutes, you have to use The Completion Backwards Principle. Spend your magic bullets wisely, only as needed.

I don't down him, but he's not one of our top 8 players if Bev makes it back. If Bev doesn't, Mann is probably the panic button. But except for the open corner 3, he's not a threat outside the paint and so he hurts our spacing. Opponents will gameplan this if he ever does make the rotation. Right now he's slipping through the cracks.

Reggie is the far more effective player by almost any metric, and of course so is Rondo. Who else's minutes do you want to hand to Mann?

I wouldn't say Ty Lue agreeing with you on this is necessarily a good thing.

We've been over this before, I tend to side with Gregg Popovich who calls plus minus a hoax.


If Oturu plays with the starters and Demcarus plays with the scrubs team and Oturu has the better plus minus, that means he' should get more minutes?

Put Terrence Mann with the starters and watch how amazing his plus minus becomes
