Your post makes so much sense but why make sense when the goal is PG bashing? Non stop? What can be done about one poster going insane about PG EVERY GAME THREAD?

Well all the people contributing to the "new thread" made about him isn't helping that's for sure.

Nah, let's let that thread be, it's keeping the constant excessive PG analysis and derailing into PG only discussion out of the game threads. That's its purpose and it is fulfilling its purpose, maybe not perfectly, but adequately.

It's done a great job as we've had lively discussion and analysis argument without personal attacks.

No. People are complaining on game threads, and it sometimes gets a little our of hand. But it's gradually improving. If some people complain about the amount of PG bashing on a thread--after a point, they've got that right. There's a thread if posters want to keep going on that. And speaking to you, RingColluder--you need to not tell mods (i.e. “me”) what to do. Just don’t.

You also need to be a little more casual about what you *think* is a personal attack. Saying that constant PG bashing has overtaken a lot of threads--and a lot of game threads--is factually correct. It falls under the area of “observation poster (you in this case) doesn’t agree with.” I’d like it to slow down. I’d like it to stop.

But maybe here, at least a part of the problem is that you’re seen—rightly or wrongly—as a one note poster, and it’s difficult for others to focus on things *they* think are important because you sidetrack things into the monolithic viewpoint. If you don't like the attitude you receive on game threads, consider why it's an issue.

Please don't PM me to inquire or complain about this. It is what it is. You're not being attacked any more than you're attacking others. If you want things to slow down, I'd be a little more cognizant of others. And, like I said to others, keep your eye rolling comments that relate to other posters without naming them directly to one or so per thread as well.

You yourself said it was a personal attack which is a violation of rules. That's what I am referring to.

"You're not being attacked any more than you're attacking others" Where am I attacking posters? I have specifically gone out of my way to NOT attack other posters, and yet these posts continue to go on.

Seem like the only way anything will get done is if I throw a personal attack towards another, and then BOTH of us get banned. That seems unfair given my restraint on the issue other than to report posts... Using words like "insane" "village idiot" "mental issues" go way beyond anyone else has ever said on this board...

I don't mind debates and disagreements like I have with OG and ESQ, but when it gets into personal attacks, that's when I have an issue. Again, you yourself said it was a personal attack so I don't see why you're saying now otherwise in your 2nd paragraph.

We've already seen multiple new posters come to the board in the last week or so who have freely and comfortable expressed their opinion regarding the player's play in both the GT and the Playoff thread. If they/us started referring to the poster/s in hand using those adjectives described, what would be the reaction and response then? Does that manner of personal attacks encourage or discourage new posters from posting on this board?

Seems by my count all of the new posters who have arrived come closer to my viewpoint regarding the state of the team than otherwise.. and I welcome new posters regardless of opinion or viewpoint. Just stating what I see.

I'll say this one more time. Stop complaining when people point out your mistakes and disagree with your stances and persistence. Those aren't personal attacks, any more than you complaining about PG is a personal attack on someone. If you want to harp on something, great. Go to the board that's made for it, or create one.

And, man, I can't say this any more strongly. Stop backseat modding. It's pissing me off, which is bad, and it's a violation, and that's worse. Yes, that's a warning. More complaints or smartass comments and you can take a few days off.

I was referencing only the one comment you yourself said that was a personal attack and rule violation in this GT. Nothing to do w the main PG thread at all. I didn't realize an attack on PG the player is now construed as a "personal attack" to posters on this board... ummmm... ok then.

And I disagree strongly and vehemently with your "attacking comment" but since you're the mod, I have nothing else to say I guess.

So... ok then. Back to the Clippers.
