I don't like it. to be honest. I would have preferred to be the third seed.

I didn't like it either but they both have aching feet.

I have chronically aching feet and the only thing that makes them better is rest. I stopped playing on blacktop and paid to join the YMCA just for the wood floor. And I'm only 5'10"--these guys are 6'7". They have freakish bodies--we average folks can't begin to understand the stresses their bodies endure--PLUS playing NBA ball under a CRUSHING schedule. And that' not even counting the travel.

I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. These guys are not pussies. They want to WIN.
They had a week off this week. They tanked. It it's what it is. I see so many clippers are trying to avoid saying that or live in denial. I don't get why they did it. Blazers is a better match up.

If we got the Lakers, it's better to catch them early with less continuity then when they're in a rhythm.

Or they're all rested up and you'd like to see Bron put through the ringer for a couple series first. And frankly, we have a team full of strangers AGAIN and precious little time to oil up the machine. Bev, Ibaka and especially Rondo are expected to be difference-makers and at the moment they're creaky.

And with that said, I would have preferred we'd played it straight.

I actually like this better. We can beat Dallas with guys coming back from injuries and get some chemistry going forward. Get a nice set rotation and then take on the Lakers. Lebron is not rested like he was last year and their first round against jazz or Suns is no walk in the park either.

I believe the Lakers are still banged up and I think the attrition they amount if they advanced to the playoffs I think they can handle it better than if it was the first round. In any sense, I dont really fear any team in the west or the NBA. To me there are too many variables to flat out say one team is the favorite or not , including the team I'm cheering for.

Just when I thought we were getting consistent, wed lose three in a row than someone sits out a game or two or injury happens.

I'm just going to enjoy the season for what it is . One game at a time. If we win the championship, great. If not, oh well. That's how I feel about it. Last two seasons with covid have been weird to say the least. You can't get a read on it like a regular season. It's just weird.

I hope with vaccines now we get at least 50% capacity for games now. We're at like 35k cases, hopefully that number gets cut into half or more in two weeks.

Completely agree. It is what it is. There's no point second guessing anything now. The coaches and players know better than us and they're ready to take on the challenges. Let's go Clippers!

Yup. All the PG lovers here have gone awfully quiet too. We can't expect anything from him. If he has a good game we can be pleasantly surprised but it should not be expected despite his bloated contract and egotistical game..

I'm a PG fan, not a silent one. So obviosly you are aiming towards me too. PG13 still max level player whether you like it or not, well deserved All-star for the season. I'm comfortable with him as 2nd option. In fact, I'm more comfortable with Paul George's performance as 2nd option than Kawhi's as 1st option.

I'm quiet because PG13 got DNP last 2 games so there is nothing to talk about.. except some guys over here giving you undeserved attention and bother to response on that petty thread of yours. I'd like to stay away from your takes as much as possible. I ignored your petty Aşş so I' wont see your miserable takes unless someone quotes them. Do whatever you want on that thread boy and stop attacking regulars of this forum in game threads.

I would like to clarify the bold sentence with the warning of moderation. I was unaware that the word "boy" I used here had a racist equivalent. My intention was not racial.

Edited by mod. This situation has been dealt with. The OP didn't realize the background of the term used; once he did, he apologized for using it. Think of this as a learning moment, and move on.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
