honestly i think boston is gonna be the highest impact player the fastest, out of all three guys. i'm not very good with player comps but i see someone who can do some of everything, and has just a touch of go-to scorer ability. maybe young nic batum?

preston i'm kinda worried about because you won't know how much physicality of real NBAers are going to affect him. he might just wash out really quickly because of that.

keon johnson is just a guy i can't really evaluate because he's so raw. kinda sucks that it's unlikely we get to see what he can do for some good period of time. though to be fair, i don't think any of these guys will be doing a whole lot for us until at least their second year.

Our Summer League MVP Jason Preston--

https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/summer/1/NBA-Summer-League/47/stats/Los-Angeles-Clippers/12/Averages/All/points/PG/desc/1/Summer_League

A lot to like here. The way he aggressively yet patiently slashes to the hoop from the left wing reminds me a lot of SGA. An inch and half shorter without shoes at 6'3" but we're also looking at JP as the PG that Shai [or T-Mann] never quite became.

Read on Twitter

The numbers are even better: These were only 40 minute games and 9 ppg on 43%/46% shooting, 2.6 rebs and especially 4.8 apg in 23 mpg...what's not to like?? :-D

Preston :

Do you try to change the jump shot form?

If he could put on muscle/increase strength in the right way, he could win on shoulder-to-shoulder body strength over smaller PGs without having to be a speed burner.

I would certainly try to change the form on his jumper as I don't like what his guide hand is doing and find it a needless expense of energy. He will need to develop some strength, as you say, especially if he cannot increase his speed/explosiveness.

Preston seems like the most ready now of the bunch for what we need
