the team absolutely looked like exactly what it was: a team that has had little time to play as one. it was definitely not my favorite game to watch, but i also kind of expected it. good teams beat bad teams like they owe them money, and this team is not a good team. inconsistency is the result of not having the talent and/or the cohesiveness you need to routinely squish the non-playoff teams of this league.

it's a team that's a work in progress, and that work in progress is continually being delayed with people being in and out. the best we can do is hope that the guys start to get healthy together and that we can put together a few runs that help build the identity as synergy of the team.

fwiw, if everyone on the team were healthy and had 20 games in a row together? shoot, i'd put this team up against anyone else in the league for 7 games. but that's not the case and it is what it is. again, just have to hope guys get healthy all together, at once.

The team didn't even really gel last season until finally beating Dallas in the playoffs and knocking off Utah even after Kawhi went down. Maybe could've taken the Sons out too if PG hits those free throws and the inbounds ally opp doesn't happen. But similar to this season the team played like sh*t last season in a ton of regular season games even with Kawhi relatively healthy. Remember that game against the Hawks where Ty benched the entire starting five and Luke and Mann brought us back for the comeback win.. That was one of the lowest parts of the season until the epic comeback happened. Maybe this team will be the same way and something finally clicks when/if Kawhi comes back after the all star break. Big if of course. The negative is that we have a lot of road games and tougher opponents coming up in the schedule. We haven't even hit the East Coast yet. We'll see happens soon enough

No excuses to play hard and be competitive.

There are teams hit way worse than ours by injuries/Covid and still compete hard. This team needs to stop showing up as if that’s enough to win a game.

I agree. I think we need that star/above average good point guard which would help us to push us through our lazy uninterested games or playing against opponents we should beat. He'll run the offense, hit the open guy for an assist, and put up some points when needed. If we're not motivated, which is most of the time, everything is too hard for this team offensively. Reggie is just looking for his shot, Bledsoe is decent on the 2nd unit, and PG at point guard is a turnover machine. We need "that guy" at point right about now badly.
