I dread tomorrow. Thank goodness they took that game off national tv. The Bucks are about to commit several crimes against this team.

And I hate April Fools day. Can’t wait for all the fake tweets.

Is anybody else outraged about this game?

99% of the time refs don't call an inbounds foul like that on Mann and then Derozan flopped his way to 3 free throws. They also could have easily called the foul on Lavine for tripping PG instead.

This should have been a Clipper victory but was instead gifted to the Bulls.

Why didn't Lue challenge that? I know they had no timeouts at the end of the 4th, but don't they give some timeouts back to you in OT?

Blame this game on poor officiating more than anything.

Also, this game matters because it isn't completely out of the realm of possibility that the Pelicans catch the Clippers for the 8th seed- they may not lose another game the rest of the season and own the tiebreaker.

If that happens, the Clippers have to win 3 more games and outside of SAC and OKC, they may not be favored in any of the games they play.

they were only down by 2.

True, it looked like they couldn't stop them at all, but there were still over 20 seconds left. Time for a stop and attempt to tie or win the game.

Only thing that didn't keep me pissed about this trash officiated game is the fact that Demar is a consistent choke artist when it matters so, he can enjoy this win where he did a fine acting job to get calls...lol

The officiating was terrible, but we had no business losing that game regardless. It's also not just one game - this team has been playing its worst basketball of the season since the all-star break. I just don't like our chances of beating a Timberwolves team that's way better now than they were when we were whooping them earlier in the season, or a Pelicans team that always blows us out every time we play them. At this point, I'd need to see Kawhi and Norm come back to feel good about the play-in.

I guess the moral of the story is that you can't let the game be close enough for the refs to pull their shenanigans and rip the game away from you.

We had a 3pt lead, but managed to commit 2 unthinkable mistakes. Fouling before the ball in inbounded, then fouling a below avg 3pt shooter while he's shooting a 3. At that point I was like yea we deserve to lose. It reminded me a game long time ago, against the Bulls out of all teams. We had a 4pt lead at the end, Eric Gordon fouled Ben Gordon while he's shooting a 3. Four point play completed, don't remember if we won or lost in OT.

The only game that matters from now on is the play in.

Perception wise, yes, reality wise they just played to their talent. Post All-Star, outside of the loss to New York, they played a decent amount of playoff level teams rounding into form and lost to them (Golden State, Atlanta, Cleveland, Utah (w/ Gobert and Conley), Toronto, Denver). Utah with George was the first win vs a playoff level team post All-Star.

In reality they were just playing back down to their actual talent level. They went 6-1 vs non playoff or play in 9th / 10th level teams (Lakers and Rockets *2, Pistons, Wizards, New York), but got decimated by actual good teams.

Which the Lakers might not even make. Pelicans are actually a scary team and even before CJ was added, they were playing 500 ball after their bad start (4-16). I would rather get the Lakers than them, many people still view them as being a poor team. They are 30-27 some that 4-16 start and 7-3 in their last 10 ( beat the bad teams).
