I came up with the name numba2 because I knew I couldn't be the #1 Clippers fan. It's because of Clipper Darrell, back in 2005 I knew of him as the biggest Clipper fan. I used to look up to him a lot when I was a teenager and when the Clippers weren't that good. Now I just like the name and it's grown on me over the years :D

gave you a and1 but i honestly do not remember Darrell at the old Sports Arena... ever.

but to be fair to him i am forgetting a lot of stuff from my youth lately, lol. just the other day i couldn't remember if Inglewood spelled with an I or E. i've been away from LA for too long and i just don't go back there enough anymore.

My sentiments exactly, but even though Redick is not known for defense, he would be a bigger overall contributor than JC.

I don't know if Darrell was a Clippers fan when the team played at the Sports Arena. I do remember him cheering on the team from Staples Center. Then again I started to follow the team in 1998 so I have no idea if Darrell showed up at the Sports Arena.

Yep but DJ is 8-15 from the charity stripe so far. Reggie makes his first appearance as a Sun in garbage time

i had already graduated my undergrad and moved to SF by 1998, so I couldn't tell ya either. but the staples did open back in 1999 so maybe Darrell was there and i simply missed him by a year or two.

anyway, that place sucked. glad we don't play in the Memorial Sports Arena anymore.

Hey, didn't that CP-to-DJ alley-oop already go through the hoop while DJ hung on the rim only to bounce off his head and thus back up through the room? The refs should have credited DJ with that dunk instead of waiving it off.

I was just a kid in 1998 and my family had just moved to the LA area so I really have no idea. I started to notice Darrell in the early to mid 2000s

The Pelicans are close to getting a huge win (for us) against Dallas. The Bucks are also leading by 10 in San Antonio, but I don't think they can pull it off.

I wouldn't advise it unless it's to say something positive as opposed to some kind of criticism (whether true or not). It doesn't matter if the poster doesn't think he/she's doing anything wrong, it's all about perceptions. Us fans get defensive about our teams.

I don't know what he's said, but I hope nothing too bad.
