Only problem I have with this pick is that it leaves us with a lot of guards, but Lonnie Walker is the exact same size as Robinson so it also would've left us with a bunch of guards. Means that we're not picking up some players (Milos, Bradley) and trades are happening. I 100% believe in this new FO and Doc has NOTHING to do with the final decision as he's already messed up enough drafts. Everyone started freaking out over the Blake trade and we ended up ripping the Pistons off. This FO knows what they're doing.

Definitely a risk. Smith is all upside, which might or might not pan out. Hes certainly intriguing, not to mention that Miami pick. 76ers did well. I just like Mikal. Hes not gonna be a star, but absolutely perfect fit for how I would be building Phoenix.

I think he'll be really gifted in that area. He put up big numbers even against the toughest defenses in NCAA. It's just going to be a situation where he gives up a lot of buckets too.
