Are you guys interested in trading Baron at all? If so what types of deals are you looking at?

I don't think so. He really improved for us last year and even if we were to trade him, the value in return wouldn't be there. I think our best option is to keep him.

I'd love to get my guy, P Mills, on the Clippers but I don't think we make good trade partners unless we can get another team to help us out. I'm assuming you guys are after a SF this summer, much like us.

What makes it harder is Miller apparently wouldn't play here, and I assume he'd be part of a Baron trade.

Not looking for a SF, looking for big man depth / Aldridge upgrade / Miller upgrade / Rudy upgrade. We can offer close to 15 mil in expirings from just Miller and Przybilla

^I think we should trade Baron if a good deal comes along. What would POR offer?

Depends on what you want. We can offer expirings, picks (although not great ones), Bayless, Rudy, Euros, depends on what Clippers need

If Miller would come, I'd take Miller and Rudy but there needs to be extra pieces.

Is the 3rd year of Miller a team option?

edit: What's up with the Vanilla Gorilla? Is he expected to be back? Would you guys likely hold him for the expiring or trade him now that Camby is on board and Oden should (hopefully) be back and healthy.

Miller's third year is non guaranteed, essentially a team option just worded differently
Not sure what the organization is planning with Joel. The last time table we heard was Christmasish return, insurance pays salary until then since he's missed over 41 games. He technically hasn't used his player option yet so we don't know for 100% sure he'll even be a tradeable asset, but I'd assume he takes it

Getting rid of Baron and Kaman for expirings would be great.

Griffin, Gordon, #8 pick would get all the shots and a ton of experience.

Clips would get a top 4 pick in 2011.

If Griffin stays healthy and the Clips get lucky with the #8 pick and next year's top 4 pick, then the Clips have a good chance to be this season's OKC 3 years from now.

OKC struggled Durant's first 2 seasons but took off in his third season which can happen with Griffin and the Clippers.

How about this:

Clippers Get: Webster/Bayless/Foster
Clippers Give: Baron

Blazers Get: Baron
Blazers Give: Webster/Bayless/Miller

Pacers Get: Miller
Pacers Give: Foster

I'd probably do that. Would rather trade Rudy instead of Bayless though.

Would POR rather cut IND out, and make it Baron for Bayless/Webster/Pryz?

**I** would, but would really hope it'd be Rudy instead of Bayless

That package wouldn't net you Kaman alone, let alone that #8 pick.

Clippers decline easily.

Thaddeus Young is easily better then Wes Johnson and Al-Farouq. And every other prospect in this draft too. The fact that you get Speights and a servicable C in Dalembert makes it an absolute no brainer.

You already have Deandre Jordan, who's your C of the future. Your organization actually would take that deal. As Daly is an expiring and Kaman has 2 years left.

Yeah, Clippers FO will take that.

An all-star center and a lottery pick for two bench players of a 55 loss team and an expiring contract. Clippers FO will laugh at that.

This is a nice start, but in this deal we give up the best 2 best pieces.

How about Kaman and the 8th pick for Dalembert and the 2nd pick?

We get the wing player we need and you guys get a center that can score from the inside and outside. Him and Brand refer to each other as brothers and know how to play together.

Eddie Jordan will NEVER be a head coach of an NBA team again. We were a 55 loss team primarily because of him.

And we could say the exact same thing about Mike Dunleavy.
