Noooo, Tom, don’t post a pic with Doc in it, you’ll wake up the gobliins
The Clipper fan understands the Book of Exodus better than anyone... what it's like to struggle 40 years in the wilderness... and Genesis.. why Cain went after Abel... So fLakers, look out... we're coming.

Re: OT - Watching the neighbors
With the Mitchell trade, somewhat unfortunately believe the neighbors have a good shot turning Westbrook's corpse into Bogdanovich, Conley and Clarkson if they put up the picks before other teams pick those guys off piecemeal... and Ainge and Pelinka have already made one deal this summer.

Re: OT - Watching the neighbors
I'm one of the only people that thinks this, but I'm guessing that Westbrook has a pretty good year. I kind of liken him to Carmelo in terms of figuring out how to adjust to his changing role and aging body. Melo was all but out of the league for a full season, and kind of did him some good--he understood and embraced his role. I think it will be harder for Russ, but not impossible. I've heard commentators say he was given to much rein early in his career, and I think that's right. If he can pull back a little bit, and play to his strengths a little more in reduced time, he could be a really good bench player (and, maybe, an adequate-ish defender).
I do think the Lakers will move him, and I actually think they might end up being sorry. I could see Russ shoot markedly better this year, and be a 14-6-6 guy in 28-30 mpg. Just sayin'.

I'll have to see it to believe it with Westbrook because he's a pretty hard headed guy

Well, yeah. I *did* say he "could be" good this year.

Re: OT - Watching the neighbors
Westbrook is very talented but I'd want no part of him on our team. Even if he played for free, absolutely not.
Dude is a selfish, me first, losing basketball player. Insanely talented, but awful at the same time.

I like Dennis. I like Bev and Westbrook too. They give it hell.
But if I'm the Lakers I'd trade any of them in a minute for Batum, Powell or Covington. Plus we got Wall. And don't forget Reggie, who has put up numbers every bit as good as Schroder's and is a true leader besides.

Brilliant Ballmer Building Brand
11 Clipper games [and all 4 preseason games] will be on FREE TV--Channel 5.
going for the East LA grass roots while the Lakers stay uptown cable-only

Nice to see the Clips back on KTLA. It says the contract with Bally expired, so where are the rest of the games going to be?

fLakers 0-3, just beeyootiful.
Westbrick same old same old...
Grampa Lebron's walker slowing his game.
Anthony "don't call me brittle" Davis already banged uo.
Life is good. Hoping for 0-84.

They have no chance of that..the Pelicans own the rights to swap picks with them, so if they miss the playoffs, Lakers win the lotto, Pelicans get to add Wemby to Ingram.
Return to Los Angeles Clippers
