I'd probably consider a trade of Monroe, Jerebko, and a first round pick.

I would do this trade. It sounds good. But the first round pick would have to be after the next draft. As in 2 years from now. I would throw in next draft's second round pick to sweeten it up.

I wouldn't trade Kaman to the Pistons.

Prince isn't worth it to me and Monroe's more of a power forward then a center.
Jerebko's a decent prospect but does nothing better then Gomes right now or Aminu later on.

I would do that deal. Kaman for Prince/Monroe sounds good to me.

Prince is washed up. I don't want him at all.

Alright this is my new trade idea...

Det in: Baron Davis, Chris Kaman
Det out: Prince, Hamilton, Maxiell, Wilcox

NO in: Hamilton, Wilcox
NO out: Okafor

LAC in: Prince, Maxiell, Okafor
LAC out: Davis, Kaman

I don't know if this works or not. I tried to check it but the trade machine/checker wouldn't work for me.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine

Det: It would definetly help fix things for them.
NO: Dump Okafor for a slightly less contract and get an expiring. Hamilton is perfect for Paul.
LAC: Get an expiring veteran SF, a backup PF, but the expense of having Okafor's contract.

I'm not sure NO would do it since they already have Thornton and Bellineli. It does help them salary wise though.

The Pistons would throw in second rounders to whomever wants them.

Thoughts...

That deal makes us a worse team, and creates a hole at PG.

What is the point of that Det/No/LAC deal? I agree, it makes us worse.

We need to be thinking of ways to get Melo here. What 3rd team can help us?

HE is NOT washed up. He had one injured plagued year. He can still play very well and he is only 30. He still has a lot left in the tank. HE would be a huge upgrade at the 3. However, Tay is not worth trading Kaman. The Clips should only trade Kaman if they are getting a top notch player in return because top 5 centers are hard to come by in the NBA (I think Kaman is a top 5 C)

I wouldn't trade Kaman for Prince, but I wouldn't mind pursuing him next offseason through free-agency.

Would you guys do a Dalembert and Casspi for Kaman?

that's a bad trade largely because Dalembert is awful. Casspi is solid though

What about Prince (expiring) for Kaman? We can also add Wilcox and a second round pick.

Kaman isn't going anywhere unless it's in a package for a true star (Carmelo).

Kaman and Griffin look great together and I don't see them being split up.

I think we should really go hard after Melo now or mid-season. He could be a franchise-changer, and I would give up anything outside of EJ and Blake to create a big 3.

S.Hawes / T.Young for Jordan / Aminu

Clips get a more productive back up C and SF that are both still young with some upside left
Philly hopes Collins can teach the young guys to play.

DeAndre Jordan for Marresse Speights would be nice. The trade doesn't interest me at all. I think Aminu will be starting by the All-Star break.

Cool. Jordan for Speights isn't even close in my book for the sixers. Speights has actually been playing better D as the pre-season progressed and has been starting to show aggressiveness on the boards. Plus he has a huge offensive arsenal, just can't give that up for a guy who is as raw as Jordan is at this point.

We definitely need a backup C. I was thinking Ryan Hollins could be a good fit. He's athletic, has a decent mid-range jumper, and plays hard on defense. He's only making $2.3 this year and next so we can take on his salary.

How about future 2nd rounder for Ryan Hollins?

I've been looking for some big guys around the league and FA as well, after Olshey told reporters we're interested in adding another big.
And he's right, cause we've hardly got anything(Smith's just 6'7) on the bench(DJ's still inconsistant and Collins shouldn't be more then a 15th man) that could help rest Kaman and Griffin.

Hollins would be a solid option, but I'd heavily protect that 2nd rounder, cause we're helping them out saving some money and Hollins isn't more than a 3rd stringer.

Others could be:
BJ Mullins(OKC)
Alexis Ajinca(DAL)
Erick Dampier
Earl Barron

And that's about it, with no one giving away bigs at this time of the year.
