Kaman
Baron

for

Rip
Prince
Maxiell

No thanks.

We'd trade away contracts worth about $65 mil and receive contracts worth about $64 mil(with Hamilton & Maxiell being under contract till 2013), while creating a huge hole at C and taking on a guy that plays the same position as EJ, with a contract till 2013.

Makes no sense at all, if you don't find a 3rd team that takes Hamilton and sends us some value for him.

I don't see why Toronto would include their 2011 1st rounder when it could easily be in the top 5 this year. Clippers would need to flip Peja for another C to replace Kaman if he were dealt.

I doubt Toronto would include their first rounder into anything.
And if they don't, it's basically Calderon for Baron, which is something I wouldn't do, even with Baron being lazy and out of shape...

Kaman, Baron and Amino to Detroit for Prince, Hamilton and Monroe sounds like a trade that would benefit both teams. I have warmed up to idea of aquiring Hamilton cuz Gordan could play more point guard with a ball handling small forward like Prince. Plus, Monroe is a passing center.

That package isn't going to get a 2012 1st, Clippers own pick or the Minny 2012 pick.

Surely we would do the first deal, but no way CHA does it.

I've thought about that exact same Kaman/OKC deal. Not sure if OKC would do it though. Do they really need Kaman? Is he the type of Center they're looking for?

Prince would give the clippers an additional 12 million in cap space and would do be an upgrade as a third option getting 13-14 ppg. Hamilton would improve the bench with12-13 ppg, Monroe is a young center that would replace kaman for the pistons, they get A pure point guard and slide over stuckey to the two, they get a true center I'm kaman and they get a young small forward to replace prince. Win/win for both teamS. Davis/kaman/prince/Hamilton all could use a change of scenery and both teAms as is are not going Any where.

We're horrible too, but I can't see that happening.
It would create a huge hole at the center spot while we would create a logjam at sf and add even more salary to a team that's not close to the playoffs, but also not sure if it should start building around Griffin and Gordon imediatly.

Just wondering.

Jennings for Bledsoe and Aminu?

No way, not close to the value of Bledsoe and Aminu. The Clippers are not interested in moving either of them.

Monroe has struggled so far with the Pistons, he is getting a high percentage of his shots blocked. He isn't ready to start yet and is shooting 35% from the field so far. No reason to move the promising Aminu for Prince, Hamilton has a bad contract and doesn't fit with the Clippers unless Gordon is moved to PG which is unlikely.

Pistons say no to moving Monroe. We needed a center and we thought we got a PF. We were wrong. He's at least a good rebounder and defender. The offense will eventually pop up when the Pistons get rid of some scoring players like Rip and Prince. Once those two go out, Monroe will get the ball more.

I don't think Kaman would fit our team. That's why i would like DeAndre Jordan from you guys, but it will never happen. I rather trade JG to get DeAndre and maybe another player from you guys. But hey its a pip's dream..... It would never happen... :-?

Edit- Btw would you guy's take JG IF we trade him for a guy like DeAndre Jordan? I know it will never happen, just asking.
