i really hate watching griffin landing on one leg all the time. he needs to learn to land on both feet to lessen the pressure and likelihood of injury on his already surgically repaired knees.

I know...every time he lands, I cringe. I'd hate to see him get injured again and mess up those new knees. I wonder if the coaches even notice how he lands / if they are trying to get him to work on fixing it?

He lands just fine, he has more than enough dynamic strength to support whatever forces he encounters while landing. I'm sure the training staff works on his eccentric strength (ie loading, landing). He has incredible balance, he's a hard worker, and I'm sure his body is near peak neuromuscular efficiency. I think his knee injuries were flukes.

I'm glad he doesn't do multiple jump stops in the frontal plane of motion like D. Rose — now that is what causes most ACL injuries. It's because your feet turn outwards, while your knee(s) cave inwards. Blake usually lands with his knee(s) in line with his middle toes. The Clippers have an excellent training staff, I'm almost positive they are observing each rep in his training sessions to look for any muscle imbalances or altered proprioception.
