possibly- I think moving on from Doc was definitely the right move and I've been impressed with Lue's adjustments so far. However, the true test of their mettle will, of course, be the playoffs

Always liked Batum's game. He's been on a team nobody pays attention to(Sorry MJ) the last 5 years, people kinda assume his career is almost over. I see him as our Igoudala.

staving off a denver comeback without kawhi. everyone stepping up big instead of the usual doc-led collapse. what a game.

Ty was all over this game. Standing up. Barking at players. Calling plays. Making subs and adjustments. Calling timeouts at the right time. Barking at the refs. Game planning, etc. Man I've been waiting to see this for a long time coming. Yeah its only two games but Ibaka and Batum and been godsends so far. Still would like a little less Reggie and Patterson but they were okay tonight. I think Kawhi will be out Sunday from the injury tonight but the game against Dallas is definitely still winnable. Loving what I'm seeing so far. Lets keep it going!

I was impressed with how the team responded to the Nuggets hot streak and when Kawhi went down. Had this been last year there is no doubt we probably blow the lead.

I've been pleasantly surprised by Batum so far. Looks like he still has some game left in the tank. I knew he could shoot and defend in the past, but was relatively ignorant about his passing abilities.

He's been outstanding so far. He's calm, plays at a perfect pace, defends like crazy, hits the occasional three, no flash just consistent hard work. Who would've thought. I sure as hell didn't. As of now I don't want to see him out of the starting lineup even with a healthy Morris

That's weird, I was told the 5 had nothing to do with why we lost last year. Yet this game went a lot differently without one of the worst defenders in the league being matched up with Jokic. Really makes you think.

Has a good floor game but I hope Morris can come back soon so we don’t over load Batum and can keep him healthy.

He definitely seems to be in that ‘crafty veteran’ stage of his career but he is definitely an asset on the floor for us.

Considering we have 2 wings that can each individually carry the team on any given night, and the fact that we were out of money anyway, this was a great signing!

There were clues throughout the season last year. We lead the atlanta hawks by something crazy like 25 points. Doc chose not to use zubac the entire second half. That was a game without kawhi and PG .

There's great signs that Lue is jsut better than Doc. Doc would have lost this

i've been mulling over it some and i just have a really hard time seeing how we're not much better off with batum starting and morris coming off the bench.

because beverley is not a floor general, the starting lineup needs more passing, not scoring. and the bench lineup needs less passing (with lou and kennard already there) and more of a scoring focal point.

so we'll see how things go when morris returns to full health, but i just don't see how we don't go with that. or at least go with more lineups that feature batum with kawhi/PG.
