Trade that could shake things up?
Image

For the Clippers - Get depth and reliability...Camby-ZBo playing well makes Kaman expendable.

For the Raptors - Get someone who can play in the open court.

For the Bobcats - Get a true center...opens up the starting PG spot to Augustin.

What kind of deal would it take to make Baron a Laker?

Some of these trades I swear.......................
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

The game against Chicago proves what I've been saying, we need a leader who's not afraid to make a play at the end of the game. Baron isn't doing it. We need Rip or Nash or ???

We've seen a lot of posts trying to send Hinrich to LAC, but what about Ben Gordon instead? He's a stud. If we could sign him long term it would be a great pickup. What do you guys think about Kaman/R Davis for Ben Gordon/Gooden? I know they're both in the last year of their contracts but there's got to be a way to work it out.

The problem with Gordon is that he has to agree to any trade and doing so evidently compromises his position. I.E., he probably wont do that. Otherwise, Id say the Bulls would say yes.

I think Baron will be fine as a floor leader. He had a rough game last night and I think Rose played some good defense at times against him that made his night worse.

I'm not worried about that aspect of Baron's game, he's always been a big game performer.

The boy can flat out ball! Too bad it's the off-the-court stuff that has ruined his reputation. Fine for us- I knew we were going to package TT and Cat sooner or later for a starter, and I don't think we could have gotten anyone more talented than ZBo.

You guys have any interest in Radmanovic+with Farmar as the kicker (seriously not asking for much)?

Maybe something to the effect of Radmanovic+Farmar+cash(3m)+Charlotte 2nd for Ricky Davis+Skinner+Jason Hart?

Okay... A Three way trade between the Cavs, the Clippers and the Bobcats:

Clipper Get:
Raymond Felton
Salary: $4,148,715 Years Remaining: 1
PTS: 13.1 REB: 3.5 AST: 6.0 PER: 12.68
Sasha Pavlovic
Salary: $4,500,000 Years Remaining: 2
PTS: 3.3 REB: 1.7 AST: 0.9 PER: 8.36
2009 1st round draft pick from Cleveland

Charlotte gets:
Jason Hart
Salary: $2,484,000 Years Remaining: 1
PTS: 2.8 REB: 1.9 AST: 1.5 PER: 5.55
Chris Kaman
Salary: $9,500,000 Years Remaining: 4
PTS: 13.9 REB: 9.4 AST: 1.9 PER: 17.08
Wally Szczerbiak
Salary: $13,775,000 Years Remaining: 1
PTS: 6.6 REB: 2.6 AST: 0.9 PER: 10.98

Cleveland gets:
Matt Carroll
Salary: $5,050,000 Years Remaining: 5
PTS: 4.0 REB: 1.5 AST: 0.7 PER: 8.08
Gerald Wallace
Salary: $9,500,000 Years Remaining: 4
PTS: 16.7 REB: 7.9 AST: 2.4 PER: 18.71
Nazr Mohammed
Salary: $6,049,400 Years Remaining: 3
PTS: 2.7 REB: 1.7 AST: 0.3 PER: 9.02

Why for each team:

Charlotte: Big man, Cap relief
Cavaliers: Depth for bench
Clippers: Scorers. (Sasha's contract isnt guaranteed next year..but the clippers would keep him.... he is an excellent 3pt shooter, and is a lock-down defender....not the best dribbler, but he is strong with his right hand)

I think it's fair for everyone...what do you guys think????

We're already in need of a starting SG and a backup 3/4. I love Eric Gordon but he should be coming off the bench. Right now we have only a 3 guard rotation and Jason Hart is #3. Mike Taylor should fill backup PG when he's healthy again.

Now Baron wants out and we're happy to get rid of him. If GS picks him up they'll have too many PG's. In return I'd like to get Jamal Crawford + Azubuike, but I've heard that Azu isn't eligible to be traded to us due to the offer sheet. So how about:

Baron + DeAndre Jordan
for
Jamal Crawford + Turiaf

That fills the 1 and backup 3/4 spots. But we still need a top flight SG and we still have Kaman. I say we send Kaman to Detroit:

Kaman + filler
for
Rip Hamilton + filler

Gives us:

1.Jamal/Taylor
2.Rip/Gordon
3.Thornton/Turiaf
4.Zbo/Turiaf/Skinner
5.Camby/P Davis

That's a 9 or 10 man rotation and our starting 5 & bench are much stronger. Plus we have the ability to score some actual points for a change. We could also do a lot of 3 guard lineups.

Pistons accept this deal...

Det sends Richard Hamilton, Jason Maxiell, 1st rounder
Clips send Kaman, Ricky Davis, Mike Taylor

Or...

Det sends Rip, Kwame Brown, Maxiell, 1st rounder
Philly sends Dalembert, Willie Green,
Clips send Kaman, Skinner, Ricky Davis

Philly receives Kwame, Skinner, Rip
Clips receive Dalembert, Det 1st, Maxiell
Detroit receives Kaman, Willie Green, Ricky Davis

Do you guys not like Maxiell? Seems like Detroit fans are trying to dump him. I haven't seem him play enough but he seems like a pretty tough defender/rebounder. Not a bad backup at the 4.

You wouldn't even have to give up the 1st in this case. But we need to keep Mike Taylor, broken finger and all. If you want a guard back its going to have to be Jason Hart.

Warrior fan. Would you guys be interested in either Crawford or Jackson + Marcus Williams or Solomon (from Toronto) + Jamario Moon (from Toronto) + Toronto #1 Pick for Kaman + filler possibly (or just Kaman alone)? Thanks for you response. Probably someone else from Toronto would be available (would require you supply another player or two).

No, but how about a Sharone Wright/Acie Earl for Paul Davis deal?

No. We'd need a lot more in return. Preferably a guard. I'm a fan of Ben Gordon but he's got some trade restrictions. I don't think Hinrich is good enough either. I'd be happy with:

Ben Gordon + Gooden

for

Kaman + Ricky Davis

(Only if we could resign those guys long term and reasonable.) But Ben Gordon can reject trades so this won't happen.

I don't think there's a combination that would work for us, we'd need a 3 team deal.
