Insane how much better the team could potentially have been had they done the Hield for Kuzma/Trez trade instead of the Russ trade, would've kept KCP and had a better spacer.

But no, Bron wanted Russ, and Pelinka didn't have the balls to say he's the GM so it's his call.

Hitching his wagon to Jeanie Buss and the fanbase full of his biggest haters was the dumbest thing LeBron's ever done, and then he doubled down. Still hard to believe as a LeBron fan since day one.

Not only that, the Lakers had offers for Russ this summer and LeBron chose to keep Russ around.
Another MJ in the making when it comes to player decisions.

Turned their season around without AD. Thomas Bryant has been incredible, wish we picked him up during the offseason.

They're on a five game winning streak while were on a five game losing streak. As usual the jokes on us. Props to them for playing hard and putting up a fight night in and night out

I'm dreaming of a day when Kawhi becomes that leader.

I think the Lakers are gonna make the play-in easily, they just picked up a game last night on almost everyone ahead of them. Adding some regular competent NBA dudes so Lebron and AD don't have to do everything almost all the time is going to make a big difference.

Lebron isn't nearly the player he was 5 years ago, but at age 38 he is still an absolute horse.

1.5 out with four teams to leap, it isn't impossible but I agree, it's likely, especially if they take advantage of the games ahead

Lakers have 10 of remaining 22 on road. 15 remaining games vs WC Teams above them in the standings. Other teams are in the same boat, so it is possible, but still an upward battle.

With the new additions I think they are better than at least the immediate teams above them, that’s why I’m thinking they will get in. Seeding of course a different matter.

Mostly, LeBron and AD busted ass and outplayed Doncic and Kyrie. Otherwise, Vanderbilt had a career game and that was probably the difference. But Beasley was 3-14 for 8/3/4, Hachimura was 1-5 and a minus-17 and Bamba only played 6 minutes.

As always in the NBA, it's the aircraft carriers that win the war. Fortunately Dallas has no depth either.

wouldn't it be cool if the Two LA teams are the ones that meet in the WCF. That would really be fun. Two teams that had to earn it got it the hard way. Battle of LA in an unconventional way.

I’d be surprised if the Lakers lose this series now. Memphis isn’t the team they were last season & lakers have the edge now. We’ll see…
