KG is talking about how he wants to re-up with the nets (god knows why) and AK is in exile even if he decides he wants to play (something he doesn't seem to want to do). Andray blatche is staying in china? Like, i just don't see any good or reasonable options if we don't chase after larry sanders.

I mean sure if sanders getting backup burn is gonna make him rot the team from inside out you never do it. But it's hard to tell what the hell's going on from over there in milwaukee, when as far as i can tell he just really likes to smoke a lot of weed? I can't know, though.

15-20 minutes of anyone would be better than what we have off the bench. The problem is how Sanders reacts when he isnt playing more than that and thinks he should be.

sure, i get that. and like i've said before i'm one of the most anti-bad chemistry guys out there. i think you don't take a chance 99% of the time if it might taint your roster.

i just think there's a good chance there's a lot of misinformation coming from bucks land so looking at that option in-depth seems to be the diligent thing to do.

If Sanders was pushing 40 with declining athleticism and skills and had played in the early/mid 2000's East, Doc would be all over him regardless of his attitude.

Considering Doc signed Jones for the rest of the season because of his "chemistry" I think we have our answer. Not that I wouldnt be for a look at Sanders, heck I was the one who proposed us dealing for Lance Stephenson earlier this season.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

yeah, i think you're probably right.

jamison was pretty much done but brought in strictly for chemistry/leadership purposes. i imagine that doc's gonna steer clear of sanders, at any rate.

That, and to preserve the nice-guy images/reputations of Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. This tradition of going after "good character guys" has been a staple since Vinny Del Negro became coach. Trying to be good in the face of the public can be a problem...

Doc annoyed me with this one. Claimed he was 'saving him for the playoffs' and then we traded or waived him or whatever. Jamison was just one of many bad acquisitions.

Heard Mo Harkless is being shopped for next to nothing. Would love it if we could ship out Udoh straight up for him.

I would love Mo Harkless but I'm not sure why Orlando would want Udoh when they can probably get more from another team.

Interesting. I also find it tragically ironic that the Clips are now supposedly dangling Crawford in the hopes of securing a first-rounder after Doc has been tossing them away like candy wrappers.

Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports (2/17/15)
As the Boston Celtics continue working to include forward Tayshaun Prince in a trade package, the organization plans to be accommodating with him on a contract buyout after the trade deadline should no deal emerge, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

As a free agent, Prince could become the most coveted player on the market this month – with the Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers promising to be strong contenders, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Prince is a native of Los Angeles.
...

After missing out on Amar'e Stoudemire, the Clippers' best chance to improve themselves for the playoff run will be securing a player – preferably Prince – on the free-agent market. For now, they simply don't have assets to make a deal for a difference-maker.

Nevertheless, the Clippers have probed the market with Jamal Crawford to see if there's a way to acquire a first-round pick that could help them make a competitive offer to Denver for Wilson Chandler or Arron Afflalo, league sources said. The Clippers have also had a continuing interest with Phoenix's Gerald Green, sources said.

The Clippers need a wing player so badly, they even took a hard look at Charlotte's Lance Stephenson in recent weeks, sending a scout to observe him for two games, league sources said. The Clippers moved on, without pursuing serious discussions.

NBA trade buzz: Clippers, Blazers eye Tayshaun Prince as potential buyout candidate

Where did you hear that? all I've read is he's barely part of the rotation but the Magic FO keeps asking for the moon in exchange for him. He'd be a great buy-low addition, if Doc was willing to give him some court time.

why would the Suns give up that much for Crawford?

jamal seems to do this crybaby routine every year. shrug.

don't see how we can get prince. as long as danny ainge knows doc is interested he's just gonna wait for doc to throw three future 1st-rounders at him.

I haven't kept up with our Clippers these past few days since much hasn't been going on. Seeing that twitter post from Jamal makes me feel like we're probably moving him. He's pretty much all we have to make a legit move unless we wait to see who's waived.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

TWolves discussing Kevin Martin buyout. That would be huge for the Clippers. Allows Doc to move Jamal for a wing and potentiall add a replacement scorer in Martin.

Also talks that David Lee may be bought out as well. Lots of names popping up for the Clippers.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

replacing jamal with another version of jj redick would be incredible. but won't he try to get paid somewhere else? we can only offer the minimum, right?

David Lee won't be bought out. K-Mart would be great if we can snag Chandler.

I'd nut at that Plum + GG for Craw eal as well.

Martin would have the luxury of signing for the min right now and hitting free agency this summer. He has 2 years left (PO on 2nd), which is why teams arent offering much for him via trade.

I dont think there is going to be much of a trade market for Lee this summer. Warriors need to move/buyout his salary to afford a Draymond offer sheet.
