yeah honestly i'm not thrilled with getting spurs in r1 but i'm not pissed either.

like many others have said i agree: the road to the finals goes through SAS/GS. you gotta beat them and there's no way around it. i also suspect that figuring out how to off the spurs in round one might be the final lightbulb the team needs to propel them to the end.

imo, if we beat the spurs, we are winning it all.

beginning to view it as a positive as well.

and this series is completely winnable.
Better to have SAS at home than on the road as well.

LOL, Warriors "fans" having a meltdown in the GB because their team is finally getting criticism for the first time ever and people are realizing how cocky they are.

I've been noticing a trend, at least on the bigger internet sites where the circlejerk is usually stronger, a trend where a lot of other teams fans are starting to feel sympathy for Paul and rooting for the Clippers a bit, and at the same time getting sick of the Warriors antics. Basically what it always happens with corny sports narratives in mainstream media: build a guy's reputation, hype him up, destroy him and then start a redemption arc. Pretty sad that it comes to that, really.

Yeah idk why I noticed it until now, but it was extremely annoying how cocky the Warriors were last night. Every time they made a shot they acted like it was game 7 of the finals. They feel entitled.

Like I said man…You can think the "reasons" you have for hating my team are legitimate. The reality is you hate them because you hate them and the "reasons" figure themselves out after that…the logic does as well.

Why don't you hate the Spurs flopping?
uhhh…herp derp…BECUZ DA CLIPZ FLOPPING IZ ON A-NUTHER LEVEL!
lol k.

Anybody who just figured out that that team is cocky hasn't been paying attention.

Funny what a year can change though.
Remember when Klay Thompson called Griff a bull in a china shop ahead of our playoff series? I thought that comment lacked class and tact.
It was pretty much applauded on this forum.
I'd like to see him say that again about another opponent this year.

Entitlement and cockiness without winning anything seems to be a Bay Area thing. Sharks fans act the same way - exhibit A, from after they went up 3-0 last year:

And as a Royals fan, the A's are a bunch of punk bitches, especially Lawrie.

This is the first season since the CP3 trade that all players involved made the postseason.

Kaman - Blazers
Gordon - Pelicans
Aminu - Mavericks
Rivers - Clips

Hawks Sale Closing

Post#1913 » by Ranma » Wed Apr 22, 2015 7:04 pm

Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports (4/22/15)
Private equity billionaire Antony Ressler is leading a group that is finalizing a deal to purchase the Atlanta Hawks, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Ressler’s group will purchase the team from majority owner Bruce Levenson for a figure somewhere between $700-plus million and $900 million, sources told Yahoo Sports.

Former NBA All-Star Grant Hill and Atlanta entrepreneur Jesse Itzler will be investors in the group, sources said.

It'll be interesting to see what route the Thunder will take after parting ways with Brooks.

If I'm Presti, I'm looking at Thibs. There's been a lot of speculation that he's out of Chicago after this season and he has to be at the top of the list (flaws and all) for teams with coaching vacancies imo. Durant is going to be a free-agent next summer. Westbrook and Ibaka will be free-agents the following summer. There could be some doubt on the long-term future, but that shouldn't be an issue for someone like Thibs imo.

I personally wouldn't mind them going after someone like Del Negro  I'd love to see Gentry get a HC job this summer. I don't know if I want to see him on one of the top teams in the West though.

The amount of crying from the usual suspects about the DPOY vote is getting ridiculous. Kawhi deserved it, he is flat-out better than Dray. The Warriors have been getting sucked off all year long by the national media without even a word of criticism, yet that's not enough for those entitled bandwagon fans.

Man, you really do hate the Warriors, but yea, really those guys both deserved it, so one winning over the other isn't some sort of travesty

Right on MTV.
The Warriors and their fans are pretty annoying.

holier than thou, we-do-no-wrong, OMFG flopping deserves the electric chair mouth breathers.

There's a couple that are cool and keep the rivalry hate rational. The rest are pure annoying.
