Not sure if you guys have been perusing the General Board much this week, but I'm enjoying certain posters from a certain fan base crying about things not going their way.

Yeah it reminds me a lot of last year's first round, everything is a referee conspiracy against them and everybody is underrating the unlikely bad luck they're having

Anybody have an update on where Thibs is going?

Nuggets take Malone.
Pelicans take Gentry.
Thunder didn't wait and got Billy Donovan.

I'm not sure where this guy could end up? I was sure ONE team would fire its coach and hire him, which is why I still have my eyes on Cleveland.

But if this guy is just not going to be a HC next year, he needs to be sitting right next to Doc next year.

I can't remember their entire salary cap situation in 2012.
But I believe them getting Steph on a team friendly contract because of his ankle did wonders for them.

Could be wrong but I thought it allowed for them to sign Iggy at the time.

Last time an MVP made $10 million in a season?
go figure.

honestly with the lebron/blatt controversy i could see blatt getting axed and TT heading to cleveland. lebron simply can not play for a coach he doesn't respect. TT is a guy he can respect. after this season i doubt he will ever give that to blatt.

that said i would be ecstatic if he could rejoin with doc even if just for a year. i think it's clear that TT has his own ways but he's a little rough around the edges with how hard he pushes his players. i could see it happening and it would be one of the best moves of the offseason this team could make.

I've been expecting him to sit out the year and take the Lakers job next summer.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

That was cool, no way Cousins was expecting that :)
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Cousins is one of my favorite players. I truly can't deal with this right now.

nor the fact that these teams consistently look the lakers in the face, know they're getting taken to the shed and still deal with them regardless.

why? it's a complete joke. it's the same as the lakers being "interested" and trying to deal for cp3 or blake. DMC is literally the only shot the kings have of being competitive in the next 10 years and he's worth far more than what he lakers can offer.

it's HILARIOUS they think they can try to trade for him. it's not gonna happen.

well, vlade doesn't strike me as someone with a peanut brain like those other morons who gifted the lakers all those star players over the years. not to mention he recently addressed it in such a way that you know he thinks cousins's value is astronomical.

the lakers don't have the assets to make it happen. if they were trading wiggins and the #1 this year and extras then vlade would do it. but they are not minnesota. the lakers' set of assets is awful, their situation is awful, their front office is awful, their owners are awful, their game plan is awful, and their organization is awful. they are the lakers of new, not the lakers of old.

cousins is a star and vlade will seek star power in return. other teams have more to offer and vlade will get virtually all of what he wants for what will likely be this coming generation's only great throwback center.
