After tonight's performance by DeAndre Jordan, I just can clearly tell that Chris Kaman has no spot on this team. DJ, EJ, BG= the trio meant to be play together.

LAC trade Chris Kaman, Randy Foyle, Ryan Gomez, Rasual Butler + Draft Picks

Houston Trade Yao Ming, Jordan Hill, Shane Battier

You guys need to trade Kaman big time. The guy has been overrated for years now and DeAndre Jordan looks legitimate. Ideally you trade him for Iguodala, I think that could work. Philadelphia needs a big man with Dalembert gone anyway.

The Houston trade Jaykoolzboy suggested isn't bad but Battier is pretty old already.

yeah todays game proved to me that right now it is the perfect time to trade Kaman.

I hear what guys have been saying about he's not at his best value and he needs to show form, but what happens if it works completely opposite? he comes into the team and ruins what we've got going with DJ etc. and us playing well.. no team will want him then

teams right now know what he can be, obviously he has flaws but i still think now is right.

we'd still need someone to back up DJ permenantly if this did happen but im sure right now where going ok.

I do like the sounds of getting Iggy though

I would entertain that deal, but I wouldn't give up any picks in addition to that deal.

Why the heck should we do that?

Or are you trying to tell us that this cap space guy is going to lead us anywhere?

Kaman >>> Cap Space, as you can't have enough bigs in the west

Oh and adding picks on top that is just a joke.

^Please, I would not mind draft picks and expiring contracts are perfect. Kaman is breaking down and the due cannot finish around the rim, all he does is pussy lay-ups and hooks. DeAndre Jordan showed tonight what this team needs, a fierce low-post defender and an excellent finisher around the rim. Kaman is all finesse and it's quite frankly, pathetic. I can't wait until Kaman and Baron are off this team.

Kaman and Gomes to Detroit for Prince and Wilcox. Prince is a solid fit. He is a consistent 13 ppg scorer who hits 38% of his threes, plays solid defense and is a good passer. He is also from a local product, which might help him mesh well with Baron and should help him with free agent negations, to go along with having his bird rights. Wilcox is just filler in this trade, anything that he ads would be a plus. The Clippers get some financial flexibility in this trade , which could be used to also go after some much needed bench scoring. For example, since kaman and Gomes contracts would be off the books for the next 2-3 years after this trade, the clippers could deal butler/smith for some bench talent without having to worry to much about the length of their contract.

The Pacers have reportedly "softened" on their position that Danny Granger is untouchable in trade talks.

Granger is shooting just 41.6% from the field, but could benefit from the Pacers renewed 'small ball' attack. Indiana would obviously require a lot in return, and he is still owed $40 million over three years, so take this with a grain of salt.

I don't think Kaman will net us much since he's been hurt. I think Dallas would bite on a deal and possibly Detroit but, they need to get that damn team sold to an owner.

i think you the clips might be able to get rip hamilton from the pistons for kaman. rip is still productive and this team needs a vet to teach them how to win.

Yeah, and we'd really need RIP, since that bum Eric Gordon is ruining our shooting guard position...

Anyways, I'm pretty speechless at what is happening here.
Guys seem now to be willing to throw away Kaman for next to nothing, just because DJ's playing better as of late.

I thought most of you were sick and tired of the Clippers giving away players(like we did with Camby last season) and want us to win, no matter how much Sterling has to pay for salaries.
And still you're happy with some expiring dudes and what not for a guy who's still a solid scorer and rebounder at the center positon.

So even if some of you are nearly drooling over every opportunity to get rid of Kaman, I'm pretty confident that our management isn't looking for stuff like that, cause at the very worst(if he comes back and clearly does not work out together with Griffn, which is something that isn't proven) Kaman will be a huge expiring contract next season with former All-Star being attached to his resume as well.
And that's something teams would give up more then guys we could sign outright next summer(Prince etc.) and some stuff so we can save some more money.

Cause even if you don't believe it, that Cap Space guy isn't going to produce more then Kaman for us.

That's something I could live with, but would Cleveland be interested to move Varejau just to save on Jamisons contract?

If so, then maybe something like this could happen:

Kaman, Gomes, Smith, Butler

for

Varejao, Jamison, Hollins

http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=5803211

That 3 man rotation of Blake, DJ and Varejao would be really good up front and Jamison could be our 6th man(meaning that Aminu would start), providing scoring.

The Cavs would save $ and receive a serviceable center in Kaman.

Though, I believe they'd want more)talent(picks) in return for Varejao.

Absolutely no way would the Clippers be interested in this. The two Cavs are PF type players that aren't needed, especially given their salaries. The combined salaries owed to both of them are 20.7 million this year and 22.7 million next year. Varejao is also owed money through 2013/14 with a team option for 2014/15.
