What an awful trade. Obviously bad for the Clippers but I'm not even sure it pushes Houston over the top unless they maybe add 1 more FA.

I don't know how I'm ever going to forgive the Clippers' new front office.

She makes a good point. I just hope it doesn't extend to Blake and DJ. I'd rather not go into complete rebuild mode, but with Jerry West behind the decisions I'm good either way. This also means 2018 cap room will exceed 70 million. Guess you never really know what happens in the background. Never would've thought CP and Harden would be 'determined' to play together.

west's philosophy is if a guy doesn't wanna be here then let him go for nothing. i remember it from his commentary during the denver/carmelo trade days.

btw i wanna be mad at paul but it's conflicting. who i'm really angry at is doc rivers for squandering so many years. i don't think this would have ever happened if we had built better teams around chris paul.

But it sounds like CP3 instigated this trade. If the Clippers didn't trade him, he would have opted out and signed with Houston as a FA.

They're also saying Blake didn't want to be back if CP3 stayed with the Clippers.

So when DJ agreed to sign with Dallas, supposedly there was friction between him and CP3 as well.

He got more than "nothing"
What more could he have gotten? Houston was in the driver's seat.

I think you guys are going to be so happy when Paul is two years into the huge contract he's going to sign and it's not your problem to deal with.
