What's the history of teams that start 4-0? 4 games obviously is still too small, Atlanta started 8-2 and Charlotte 7-3 last season, but 4-0 is not bad no matter what way we slice it.

____

Guards still need to create more for others. Team doesn't know how to get DJ good shots right now, so that's a bit concerning, but they held Portland to 39% FG, even though they shot 45% 3PT. We did go very stagnant in the end, and it worked, but might not be as good an idea against certain other teams. Only 11 assists by the whole team tonight. The scoring is coming from different options, which is good, but they do need to get each other shots better and not just be a combination of good players who can attack a moving defense individually.

Hopefully there will be some sort of explanation tomorrow?

Regardless, GREAT WIN!!!!

The offense got a little stagnant in the 4th, but Blake carried them nonetheless. So far he has been so up to the task of being the focal point of the offense! (actually better than I thought)

I think we're capable, but guys are playing too many minutes for my liking right now.

I believe we started 4-0 in 07-08 when Brand was sidelined after an unfortunate summer rendezvous with Kaman.

07-08 is too long ago for me to remember now, but yea, 4-0, then 23 wins on the season, well this will certainly not be a 23 win season, but of course, still very early in the season, definitely.

CP3 quit, not on us but on himself

he's gonna pass off to Harden

It's Blake's team now

dunno if he can do it in the playoffs
and he doesn't either

Good win definitely. I like how confident Blake is and how much offense he creates for himself.

Im concerned with our assist rate.
Lou, Austin and Beverly had 1 assist combined.

Gallo has not been shoting well. We need to him be the guy who get 20 points a night. Otherwise Blake is gonna have to play 40 minutes every night. That is not sustainable.

This team showed the heart of a champion tonight. They easily could have folded multiple times, yet they stood back up each and every time(even breaking Lawler's Law lol). This is the kind of win that can change the course of a season.

Game ball to Blake. Nothing more to add here. Especially inspiring to see this after all the injuries and such he's had to overcome to get to this point. For some reason, I knew that three would drop even before it left his hand.

I'll always root for Austin, even if I'm the only one.
I root for players always, organizations sometimes.

I don't know how I'm ever going to forgive the Clippers' new front office.

Austin heroed up. Again.

There's more pressure on him than any other Clipper, the nepotism thing. He keeps defying the dirt.

Blake has already done it in the playoffs. Last time he was fully healthy in the playoffs, he was putting up Oscar/Barkley statlines. Remember that triple-double he put up against the Spurs in Game 7?

Blake has been our best player in many playoff series over the years. Somehow, people have taken the fact that he was injured in the last two postseasons and spun it to mean that "he can't get it done when it matters most."

Some quick Gallo thoughts,

1. Gallo is always about the team so he is just trying to fit in for now.
2. Gallo's shooting percentage will increase later on as he gets in rhythm.
3. Gallo will probably not be a 20PPG guy but he will be a 17ppg-19ppg guy
4. Gallo always starts slow in October but comes on hard in the Dec/Jan/Feb/March months.
5. The cream always rises to the top of the coffee. Gallo will be fine :)

This team does need to get Milo back. BG and Gallo are good passing forwards but you can't have guards having many games with 0 assists.
